Kellin has been feeling badly mentally since he arrived at boarding school. He didn't want to stay around people and just wanted to be cared about. Sadly, he couldn't stay in his bedroom for having to go to church, which is always crowded. When he was going to look for a calm place, he heard his name.
"Kellin, are you going?" Vic asked while walking up to him.
"Nah, I prefer to enjoy the sun. Do you wanna come?" Kellin held tighter to his backpack's shoulder straps.
"Why not?" Victor started walking by his side. "Where are we going?"
"I normally stay near those trees next to the gym. It's pretty chill," Kellin said while looking around and seeing those well-dressed people.
"Won't we get in trouble?" Vic asked.
"No. People have already seen me, and nothing has happened," Kellin said, and they kept the conversation going until they got to the place and put down a blanket. "I had zero intentions to go as you can see."
"At least you're enjoying your time," Vic said as he sat by Kellin's side.
"At least." Kellin chucked. "I hate it when there's no sun."
"I hate when it rains," Vic said while looking in the distance.
"When it rains, I don't even think about getting out of the bedroom. No one can do anything to me."
"Lucky you, I'm obligated to go. Otherwise, I risk losing my scholarship," Vic said while looking at Kellin.
"I hate it that they obligate us to go to church when it has to be something spontaneous. I know we signed up the papers, but still. Have you ever created a bond by pressuring a friend?"
ooo
When it was lunchtime, Kellin and Victor went to eat. The pale boy enjoyed the food, but there was a girl who triggered his disorder. Though he managed to eat like an average person, he didn't want to finish the dessert. "I'm going to my bedroom, alright?" Asked while standing up.
"Fine." Vic was still eating the dessert.
Kellin went rather quickly due to the urge to purge and praying that his roommates would not be there. He was feeling horrible all of a sudden. Thankfully, there was no one. He broke down badly. He couldn't even remember the last time purging felt like that, horrible, hurtful, dreadful, nasty. While he was still sticking down his throat, he heard steps.
"Kellin?" Victor asked and opened the bathroom door, which has no lock, then tried to open the toilet's cabin. "Are you ok?"
"No!" Kellin held the door closed.
"Kellin, what are you doing? Please, open the door..." Victor forced it a little more.
"No! Get out!" Kellin cried out as he put his back against the door.
"Why are you doing that?" Vic asked. He isn't going to give up until the pale boy leaves the cabin.
"I hate myself. Everyone hates me. Get out..." Kellin whimpered.
"I don't hate you, please... Get out here." Vic tried to open it again. He could tell Kellin locked it now. "Please, I care about you." He got silence from him. "Kellin, please..." By this time, he heard the flush, then saw Kellin getting out of there and going to wash his hands. "Why were you doing that?" Looked at Kellin's red puffy face through the mirror.
The pale boy just washed his mouth, not saying anything, then sat on the corner, hiding his face.
"You were doing so fine today, or seemed to..." Vic sat by his side. "What happened?" Started stroking Kellin's hair, who just shook his head. "You know, it's not true that everybody hates you. You're one of the most likable people ever."
