Chapter One

The sun rose shining a blinding light towards her face, as the child woke up. She looked around mindlessly, just waking up after a good nap. She hears the soft sound of the waves as they crash into the edge of the cliff. The little lamb always enjoyed looking out onto the sea, imagining herself sailing away into the horizon. They come back to reality as someone calls her name.

"Puffy!" Calls her mother, from down the kitchen, with a sweet scent flowing into Puffy's room.

"Coming Mom!" She jumps gleefully, and as she runs out, she scoops her pirate hat and hurriedly sneaks into the kitchen where her mother was preparing a delicious breakfast. She takes her seat on her curved wooden chair near the hard rusted wooden table.

"How was your sleep darling?", asks Puffy's mother, as she brings their plates down and smiles warmly at her. Puffy grabs her spoon and starts chewing away at her breakfast, a soft scallop. An idea suddenly pops into Puffy's head.

"Ohhsg! I hash thesh besht-", she was interrupted by her mother giving her an annoyed glance, as Puffy's mother didn't like wasting food.

" PUFFY! No talking while your chewing on your food please!", gestures Puffy's mum as she eats without talking. Seagulls began to chip, but in a panicked way. Puffy's mom immediately looks out the window as her ears perk up in alarm. Puffy gives her a look saying, 'What's wrong?', but her mom ignores.

"Puffy, I'm going to visit your father. I also need to get more food before winter hits, and the tide rises. Can I trust you to be home alone?" Puffy's mother kneels down so her eyes are at the same eye level as Puffy's.

"Yup!" Cheers Puffy as she jumps and gives her mother a tight hug, as she wouldn't be giving one in a while. Puffy watches as her mother walks out the door, assuming her stuff was already in the ship, next to her Dad's pirate ship. The boat creaked as it began to sail into the distance off into the horizon, and into the sunset, far far away from Puffy. Fun! I am now the captain of the house! Thought Puffy as she spun around and skipped around the house. She did this every day for years, and how did she get food? The attic was filled with food to last up to 100 years, Puffy was never sure why. Puffy was now 18, and her parents still weren't here. It wasn't really a concern to her, since travelling by boat took awhile, but it has recently. Ever since her Mom left, the seagulls never chirped like that ever again. Puffy began to think it was a call, a call for help possibly? She rested her elbows which were covered in a soft fur, against the windowsill, looking off into the soft sky, with the familiar feelings of the waves crashing against the cliff's edge, as it screamed like it was being hurt from the waves. She had missed the warm embrace of her Mom and Dad's hugs, just the feeling of them being there made her feel overjoyed. Her ears wave from side to side as the wind picks up just a tiny bit more. Again. That familiar bird chip. It sounded like a bird screaming for help, or for a warning of bad things happening. Puffy looks up at them, before realising soon after.

"Wait..Weren't those the birds I saw 9 years ago?.." She mumbles as she looks back at the pictures she took as her Mom drove the ship into the distance.

"She headed..North!". She paused before realising she needed to pack, she grabbed the basic necessaries, food water and so on, and changed into her pirate outfit, along with her pirate hat that brought back tons and tons of memories. It didn't matter, someone was calling for help. Adjusting her hat quickly and with her backpack, she bolted down the stairs that curved unsafely around the cliff, and down onto the shore, where crusty golden sand laid all over. As she approached the boat, she stopped for a second. Just to make sure. She then climbed onto the boat. Puffy remembered when she was a little lamb, and her father showed her the boat, so she knew about more than half of it already. There was a crusty old letter and a map on the old wooden table in one of the rooms below deck. As she leaned close to the table slowly, unaware of the condition of the boat. The floorboards creaked loudly as she held the rough note in her gloves. It said; 'Hello. If you are Puffy, then I wish to see you soon. I have gone to help your father. He is in danger. I assume you are older enough now to venture the world. I wish you luck my little lamb', Puffy gently folded the note into one of her pockets and grabbed the map and rushed up onto the top deck, near the wheel. It showed the islands nearby, that her father had discovered and put them on the map. Puffy put a determined face on, and griped her woolly fingers on the stale wooden wheel, and the boat began to sail (We won't question how). This had been her dream for years, now it was true in a way. As the large, extremely tall sails waved at the sky, the ship had sailed for about 4 hours now. The sun had gone to sleep, and the night had woken up, filling the sky with bright dots in the sky. After hours upon hours of sailing, the boat had come to stop at an island that was marked as dangerous. It was called, "D.S.M.P Island", It didn't say what D.S.M.P meant, and Puffy didn't have time to question it. There was a clear path that ran around the Cliff, that went high up, it might've snowed up there. As Puffy walked around the unsteady path until she arrived at the cave's main entrance. She entered the cave, with a torch that she had brought unlit in her backpack. You could hear a faint eho if you listened hard enough, and Puffy did so. Puffy could hear a faint mutter, something like Dream?.. And she felt herself look around more worryingly as she began 2 see 2 figures.

"What are we going to do with these animals Dream?", a man with some type of glasses said to someone wearing a hoodie over their head.

"Dunno, what should we do with them George?", asked the one with the hoodie who was named Dream. As Puffy stepped forward slowly, the sound echoed loud enough for them to hear. She could see their shadows move to look in Puffy's direction. Puffy thought Wait. If I make them come out of the cave, I might be able to get time and save them! She thought bravely and she took out her iron sword and ran down the hill. But stopped as she saw creatures being summoned, ranging from skeletons to Zombies, to green alien looking things. The 2 men were following, she could now see them better. The one named Dream, had a greenish colour hoodie, with a smiley mask covering his entire face. While the other one had a blue shirt with a red square on it, and goggles. They took out their swords and Puffy ran up the hill a bit more to get a better view. They didn't chase her. They wanted to watch her be hurt. Puffy looked back to see them climbing up the tower, and took out her sword. As she swung the sword, her sword began to become more of a brown-ish red. There was one mob left. The "Creeper" Dream and George called it. It flashed as it got close to Puffy. She remembered. Reading a book about mobs. This one would explode, probably hurting her very badly. The air was swaying like there was no tomorrow, the waves no longer crashed gently against the waves, they were rough and harsh. Just as the Creeper was about to explode, she grabbed her shield out, placing it in front of her, hopefully to protect her life. As she did, she swung the shield towards the 2 people watching, sending them tumbling down the hill. Puffy immediately ran into the D.S.M.P cave, to hopefully reunite with her beloved family, who always filled her with joy. But as she turned the corner, her face straightened. Instead of there being two over joyous parents, so happy to see her. There was a Tall Man, who seemed to be a pig, with a golden crown beside him, and a Fox, who seemed to be also mostly human, but their tail said otherwise, they wore a black cap that made their ears flop down besides their head. Little did Puffy know, these people would form a new companionship.
