Halloween Night
Jeremy tore the knife out of Amanda and placed it beside him. He grabbed her legs and growled as he pulled her lifeless body towards him, he had a constant look of hunger in his eyes as he moved her, he thought for a moment about slicing off some of her flesh and eating it. He was considering trying it but he needed to get ready. He recalled hearing about a Halloween party happening tonight and if he wanted to enjoy his killing spree he'd need to get going. He had purchased a Ghostface costume from the Scream movies, and he had finished using his Michael Myers tactics, for now, it was time for Ghostface to come out and play. Jeremy left the office and headed towards his house across town. He walked through the crowds silently, his eyes glued open as he observed the world around him. Up the street and to the right red and blue flashing lights caught his attention. He slipped past easily, nobody noticed him as he walked. He tucked his weapon away into his jeans as he moved.
People were crowding around the scene at the house and Jeremy stopped and watched closely as police officers crawled all over the house. He smirked, his DNA was going to be all over the scene. He wasn't being careful, he intended for people to know that he was responsible. Someone would find Amanda's body, someone was going to put two and two together, but there was no way they could link him to it. When he got done, there would be no doubt. Jeremy felt anxious, he wasn't used to waiting, but this was going to be easy. He figured he had time to kill before the party started, it was getting dark now, but he could still see. He looked back and saw police cars down the street, his ghost-face outfit was going to get a lot of attention, he wondered briefly if anyone had spotted him, but they didn't have time. He figured he'd be able to cut through this crowd and get to his house unnoticed.
Using the darkness as his friend Jeremy soon returned to his house and stepped inside. The smell was strong, his family was already beginning to break down and decompose from where he left them. He went upstairs and looked in on his mother's bloated corpse on the bed, he smirked then approached his room and walked inside.
On his bed was his Ghostface outfit that was ready to go.
First, he needed to clean up, he was covered in blood. He stepped into the shower and turned the water on and stripped himself off before tossing his blood-covered clothes to the side. He closed his eyes. He didn't like much, but he liked the feeling of soap and warm water running down his back. He liked the sting of the hot water as it touched his sore skin. He liked the feel of the water as it dripped down his back, it felt good, really really good. He soaped himself up, scrubbed his body hard, and scrubbed his blood-soaked skin with soap, but he didn't mind the discomfort. Jeremy got out of the shower and quickly dried himself off. He ran some gel through his hair, he was surprised by how good it made him look.
He walked back into his bedroom and looked at the Ghostface costume on the bed, he grabbed it and slipped it onto his body and then walked over to the mirror and looked at himself. His smile widened as he saw himself, he looked cool, he looked mean. He grinned, he loved it. He grabbed his knife from the nightstand and checked the blade, it was sharp and ready to use. He made his way downstairs and through the kitchen, the smell of decomposition was thick. He smelled his mother's rotting corpse as he passed through the house, and he tasted bile in his mouth. Jeremy opened the back door and walked outside, he closed it behind him.
The air was cool, it felt good, and it felt good to breathe.
Cameron looked over at James who stepped out of the bathroom. Cameron began laughing loudly as he smacked his knee over and over again which made James, who was wearing a wedding dress covered in fake blood, scowl at him and growl.
"Oh my god, that looks awesome!" Cameron said as he wiped the tears from his eyes.
"Yeah, it looked like fun, but it's really not," James said.
"I can see that. But, it was fun," Cameron said.
"You're wrong, it's not fun at all, it's sad," James said.
"Why? Who died?" Cameron asked.
"No one died," James said.
James looked down and then turned to Cameron who saw the serious expression on his face, he stepped toward him. "What's wrong?"
Cameron looked at James sadly. "You can't worry about them, you have to enjoy the party."
"I know, I know. I'm just worrying," James said.
"We'll have a good time," Cameron said.
"Okay," James said.
"Hey, you ready?" Cameron asked.
"Yeah, let's go," James said.
James and Cameron stepped out of the house and jumped back with fright when Oliver jumped out from behind the hedges outside the house. James groaned, turned his head away, and rolled his eyes as Oliver pulled off his cheap knock-off Michael Myers mask and tucked it into his back pocket. "Sorry, I couldn't help it," he said through the gasps of air.
Cameron laughed. "Asshole!"
"Wait until you see it," Oliver said with a wink.
James gagged. "Yuck," he walked past Oliver and went down the path, his long dress dragging behind him.
Oliver watched him go. "Faggot" he whispered to himself.
Jeremy who now dawned the Ghostface costume exited his house and walked out into the middle of the street, he looked from side to side as the wind that swept through the streets picked up the back of his cloak and blew it from side to side. He had purchased a knock-off voice changer from eBay, he hoped it sounded similar enough to Ghostface. A little girl bumped into him and she gasped and stepped back as she looked up at him.
"Hey! I know you!" She said happily.
Jeremy tilted his head and reached up and flicked the switch and activated the voice changer. "What's your favourite scary movie?"
"Scream 3!" She called back before waving and hurrying off leaving him standing there watching her go.
Jeremy knew nobody would recognise him in this new outfit. So he began his track across town to where the biggest Halloween party would be happening...
