Chapter five

Cat o'nine tails

The torches slightly lit everything up, and the rumbling in the hallway made her body tremble with fear. Last time she had seen them, were on the battlefield, the same day she was taken away from Edward. ''Let me out!'' She screamed in agony, trying to figure out where she were. ''They ain't goin' to lassie'' The soft voice filled her ears. As she turned around she were relieved to see the charming face of the handsome young man.

''Jack!'' She smiled. ''Aye'' Trying to reach out to her, between the bars were unsuccessful. ''Where 'ave ye been?!'' she chuckled. ''we 'ad to renovate our beauty. But it was then that we got captured.'' He whispered as he looked towards the ground. ''I should 'ave listened to ye about Branson'' She nodded as she clenched her jaw in pain. '''ay? did they 'urt ye?'' Elizabeth shook her head. ''It be okay. Nothin' I be not used to'' ''What about Branson?'' Jack smiled. ''I should 'ave listened to ye all them years ago.''

''No Jack... I can't even count 'ow many times this here yearrr I've been face to face with death... I took after me father. I led with courage an' fear. I should 'ave led with me 'eart like ye.'' jack shook his head. His red dreadlocks slightly covered his face. ''Courage an' fearrr be the way. We all ken that there; I've just ne'er been strong enough'' ''So what 'appened?'' Elizabeth asked as she locked eyes with Jack. Jack got a bit uncomfortable as he began to speak.

''We weren't strong enough to fight me brother's privateers...I wanted them to be as tough as ye.'' ''Showin' practice makes ye weak to the watchin' me good eye'' She whispered. ''Aye.. An' it did.. The kin' captured us...'' ''The kin'?'' ''Aye'' ''No, the kin'; Balthazar?'' Jack nodded. ''Where do ye think we be sweetheart?'' ''Balthazar will put me through another keelhaul'' she whispered. ''Another?!'' Elizabeth nodded. ''Aye... 'aven't fully recovered yet.'' She tried to smile the pain away. ''Oh lassie, what did ye do to 'im?'' ''I'd rather not talk about it'' ''That there bad 'uh?''

their chatter became almost silent as footsteps appeared around the corner. ''Shiver me timbers!'' A surprised face met Elizabeth's. ''I did nay believe ye when ye told me ye caught the legend'' He chuckled as he sent the guard away. ''So the infamous Elizabeth Sinclair'' ''Balthazar'' She growled. ''Don't be so 'ostile. All I want be to talk'' Elizabeth remained silenced. ''Ye see. I 'ave a proposal fer ye'' She spat in his face. ''I be not interested''. ''Ye took me leg an' 'and Sinclair. At least show me some decency an' listen''

With a lifted eyebrow, she listened as her eyes wandered up and down upon him. His brown curly hair awkwardly hanged over what clearly were an intrigued face, and his darting brown eyes wandered the room, before he spoke. ''Marry me lad, in return ye'll get all the riches ye want'' Elizabeth shook her head. ''I won't be any's bonnie little wife'' Balthazar smirked as he came closer to the prison bars. ''Ye don't 'ave a choice. Either ye marry me lad or ye'll get keelhauled'' ''There must be another way'' Jack interrupted, trying to protect her. ''Oh there be buccaneer'' An evil smile appeared upon Balthazar's lips. ''If ye don't corporate, we will simply take it''

''Ye don't 'ave the balls fer that there'' She scorned. ''GUARDS!'' Balthazar shouted. ''Bring me, me favorite toy'' ''Let me guess, Cat o'nine tails?'' Balthazar smiled as the whip gets placed in his hands. ''Pin 'er down!'' As they unlocked the prison door, they stormed her, ripping her shirt off of her, revealing her bruised but naked body, she got pinned down. '''old 'er steady'' Balthazar ordered. ''Don't 'urt 'er!'' Jack yelled, trying to break free. ''She's already married!'' Balthazar chuckled as he turned to face Jack. '''aven't ye 'eard? sinclair be a widower'' Jack's face expression went from worried too shocked. ''Jack, look away.'' Elizabeth tried to smile, before getting whipped on her bare back.

as the nine threads hit her body, she bit into the mattress in front of her. Her body performed a twitch as she tried focusing on her happy place; Out at sea with her father, watching the sunset.
