꧁8꧂- Kitty?

Quick A/n: So next shot will be in another au and such and I'm still writing it and thinking it through. When i finally feel satisfied with it I'll post it so have this in the meantime.

Aether was walking through the broken bridge towards Dragonspine to collect some Starsilver ore.

He breathed in as the freezing air entered his lungs sending goosebumps down his spine.

Immediately his instinct was to rub his shoulders quickly to warm himself up to his best abilities. It was snowing as always the new snow piling on top of the older. Thank god the paths are taken care of. Obviously not to the very best but it does it's job.

He wiped the sweat off of his forehead exhaling.

He had finally collected enough and was about to head straight back to Mondstat when he heard a tiny noise from the bushes.

His head whipped around as he locked eyes with a cat.

It was a tiny white-ish cat and it had blue eyes that were shining strongly as it gazed up at him.

He crouched down and extended his hand but the cat remained seated. Then he noticed something. It had a small star on its neck almost a perfect copy of what Albedo had on his neck.

Did Albedo create himself a new companion? A cat does suit him.

"Hello kitty~... I suppose i sholud take you back to Albedo huh. His camp is actually not so far from here c'mere kitty."

He extended his hands grabbing the sides of the feline and he felt it stiffening up.

It meowed up at him showing its paw onto his eye.

"Haha- it's not playtime cat."

He shoved it's little paw off and he started walking towards the alchemist's camp.

When he shortly arrived the cat jumped out of his arms and sat near fire almost sulking.

Aether brushed that off and walked in scanning for Albedo. He paused and got stuck in place almost when he saw the man's clothes on the ground clumsily placed there.

His cheeks went slightly red and he scratched the back of his neck chuckling softly before leaning down and picking them up as well as brushing the snow off of them.

Then he proceeded to fold them neatly and he placed them on the table making sure not to mess up anything that was laid out all over the desk.

He sighed and turned back to the cat it was up on a table filled with potions and was practically glued to one with shining green liquid inside. It took out the cork and immediately tried reaching it but Aether reacted quickly and picked it up.

The cat almost seemed stunned for a second before it started fumbling and trying to get out of his hold.

Aether frightened didn't realize but the cat had scratched his cheek and it was now bleeding.

He suddenly felt the stinging coming from the wound and dropped the animal letting his hand hover over his cheek but also not letting himself touch it to prevent infection.

He then slowly corked it up and out away the potion hissing from the irritating pain.

He heard the cat meowing loudly but he ignored it frustrated.

"Come on cat we're gonna check in Mondstat for him."

He said grumpily and walked out before turning around and seeing the cat hesitantly looking at him. He sighed deeply.

"Come on."

The cat obligated and trotted after him staying quiet.

When he arrived in Mondstat he immediately ran over to the alchemy station.

Tim was standing there with a notebook in his hand. When he heard Aether he looked up and gave a small wave.

When Aether stopped he stood there for a second collecting his thoughts before he sighed.

"Have you perhaps seen Albedo?"

"Here..? No he's been gone for three days now but when he walked to Dragonspine he did say he'll stay there for a few days for research."

"Oh?"

"Yeah. Not sure how that's going for him."

"Well- he wasn't there when i came."

"That's odd... Well he might be out on an expedition. I'm sure he'll come back soon he's a very capable person."

"Sure.."

"Oh right! He did also mention that he sholud be back today he will need to stock up on food. So you sholud wait here for him."

"Well thank you- are you closing?"

"Yes. But here have the key i was supposed to wait for him but since you're here I'll leave that to you since you're already in on it. Thanks by the way!"

" *sigh* Sure sure.."

He exhaled feeling sort of tired and he walked inside immediately sneezing from the sheer amount of dust that was in here. Albedo truly was a messy person.

He sighed and sat on the couch holding his knees. He heard a quiet meow and looked at the cat who followed him inside.

"Oh.. right you."

The cat hopped up onto the couch and slowly made it's was onto his stomach. Aether let his legs straighten and he moved his hands from his legs to the cat. Then he started petting it genetly. He smiled warmly when he heard it purring softly.

It's fur was soft and somewhat cold from being up on the mountain.

It's face came closer to Aether's and it started licking his cheek where the cut was earlier. The cat seemed extremely hesitant about it but kept going even when Aether started giggling and tried to push it's face away from him.

Then his vision was obscured with smoke and suddenly he felt a lot of weight on him. Much more than just a tiny cat.

He blinked rapidly and behold Albedo was on top of him still licking the wound on his face seemingly oblivious.

Aether cupped his cheek and the alchemist paused eyes opening. His expression changed faster than the light and he backed up a bit.

Aether stayed still as well sort of unsure what to do in this situation.

But suddenly Albedo leaned in and kissed the other making him gasp as their lips connected.

Suddenly all the tension went away and all that plaged his mind was hos soft Albedo's lips felt on his own.

Their make out session was calm and when their lips parted a string of saliva connected the two's tongues.

Suddenly Aether bursted out into laughter and Albedo went bright pink hitting his shoulder roughly.

"What?!"

"Albedo- you're... Haha you're naked!"

Albedo took his time processing that before he shot up and ran away quickly to find some clothes. He soon returned with some pants and a shirt and Aether was still laughing at him.

"Oh so funny Aether..."

He mumbled quietly with a smirk on his face.
