The cave was silent, three vampires were sitting in the heart of the cave waiting for Octavia to wake, " I'm starving" Paul mumbles, Marko shot him a look, before standing. Ever since waking Paul hadn't stopped talking about how fucking hungry he was " You're always fucking hungry, it's either you're hungry or horny" he mumbles as he walks into the makeshift bedroom. Marko can't help but smirk as he looks down at Octavia, she was wrapped in a blanket with Paul's jacket on. Slowly he walks over and sits down, he didn't want to wake her but they needed to eat and so did she, " Octavia" Marko said, he gently shakes her shoulder, she lets out a groan causing Marko to roll his eyes and smile, he bends down closer to her, " Octavia, come on doll get up" he said, Octavia slowly opens her eyes, as he moves a piece of her hair out of her face, " Hey" she whispered, Marko bent down kissing her lips slowly, Octavia returned the kiss grabbing onto Markos arm, he was the first to pull away, "Time to go" he said, Octavia shook her head, she didn't want to leave the cave, Marko let's out a sigh before standing up, " I'll bring you something back okay" he said, She nods her head giving him a small smile, he returns it before walking off. Marko expected her not to go, especially with what happened yesterday " Let's go" he said, Paul jumped up and rushed out of the cave, Dwayne looks behind the youngest vampire to see Octavia wasn't with him, " She's not coming?" He asks, Marko shakes his head with a frown, Dwayne stands up and walks towards the exit Marko following behind him, "Give it time" he said, Marko just nods his head as he follows behind Dwayne worried about Octavia.
I woke up gasping for air, placing a hand on my chest trying to calm down my heart. Looking around the small area of the makeshift bedroom I start to calm down feeling safe. Pushing the blanket off my burning body, I slowly stand up, the rough cave floor under my feet. Walking into the heart of the cave my eyes land on David, he was in his usual seat a cigarette in his hand. The platinum blond vampire looks towards me, " Where are the others?" I ask, he shrugs his shoulders smoke coming from his lungs. I make my way over to the couch and sit down, " Paul told us what happened" he said, I tense up not wanting to look at him, why did he care anyways?. I just hum and lean back still tired, " Such a stupid thing, going with some stranger. Thought you were smarter than that" he said, I shrug my shoulders while looking down at my lap, " Yeah well clearly you were wrong, just like I was about you" I mumble, stealing a quick glance at him, his eyes were narrowed at me, a lung full of smoke coming from his mouth, "Enlighten me, what did you get wrong about me?" He asks, I bite the inside of my cheek, is it worth a possible argument?. Shaking my head I stand up and make my way towards the makeshift room not wanting to be out here anymore. Passing David he grabs my wrist pulling me down onto his lap, I send him a glare as his hands grab my waist keeping me held down, "Well" he said, shaking my head I swallow hard, David lets out a low growl before moving his face closer to mine, " Tell me doll face" he said lowly, a chill goes down my spine causing me to shiver and goosebumps to appear. David takes notice of this and smirks, " Fine" I snap, moving my face closer to his, eyes narrowed " I thought you cared, but I was wrong. One minute you're kissing me acting like I'm yours and the next you're ignoring me and with some other girl" David's grip on me tightens, his fingers digging deep, " You played me so well, and my stupid ass started to fall for it, for you" David lets out a low growl, as I push against his chest to get away from him but his hold gets tighter, " Let me go" I snap, David grabs my jaw painfully, I let out a whimper as he brings his face closer to mine, slowly he ghosts his lips over mine before pulling away and roughly shoving me off him. Landing on the ground with a small yelp, I look up at him tears threatening to fall, he leans back emotionless. The sound of hollering fills my ears, slowly I get up trying to calm down my racing heart. Dwayne was the first to enter the cave, when he sees me he picks up his pace, " You okay?" He asks, I nod my head forcing a small smile onto my lips, he nods and bends down kissing me before grabbing my hand and leading me over to a couch. Sitting down Marko walks over and drops take out infront of me, " Burger and fries" he said, I give him a small smile of thanks before grabbing the container. I go to open it when someone plops down on the other side of me, turning my head Paul offers a small smile. Gratitude towards him fills me, dropping the container on the table I lung myself at him, and wrap my arms tightly around his neck, " Thank you" I said, Paul pulls me closer to him and kisses my neck, I close my eyes hugging him tighter, "You're welcome princess" he grabs the back of my neck tightly as he holds me close. I owe Paul a lot, he still hasn't told David who I am, and with him hating me he still saved me from Alex. Pulling away I kiss his cheek before sitting back down grabbing the food container, Dwayne tosses an arm around me pulling me into his side. I could feel eyes burning into me but I don't look up, a pain goes through my chest causing me to drop the burger and wince, "O"Marko said, clearing my throat I place a hand to my chest rubbing it, " I'm fine" I mumble, what the hell was going on?. I pick up my burger and take a small bite of it, " Are you sure?" Dwayne asks, looking up at him I nod my head giving a forced smile before going back to eating my food.
When I finish Paul tosses the container into one of the burn barrels, " So, Wh-" David" I couldn't help but let out a groan, looking towards the entrance of the cave, Ashley comes walking in heading straight for David a smirk on her lips, she goes to sit down on his lap causing me to look away. Clearing my throat I stand up, without looking at anyone I make my way into the makeshift room and sit down on the bed. Why?. Why did David have to go and do something so fucking stupid. I shake my head and lay back, my head meeting the many pillows. Grabbing the blanket and bringing it up to my stomach, I roll over
" Hey" I turn my head to see Paul, giving him a small smile, he walks over and sits down on the bed, I look up at him as he leans down, " I thought she was gone" Paul shakes his head, causing me to bite the inside of my cheek, looking at his jacket" It's okay princess, he'll see soon enough" he said, rolling my eyes I shake my head, maybe by the time he figures it out I won't want anything to do with him, even if it kills me. Pauls fingers runs up and down my said, causing me to raise an eyebrow
" I thought you were mad at me?" I whisper, Paul nods his head and clenches his jaw, he points towards the main area before pointing to his ears, nodding my head understanding what he was getting at, he couldn't say anything due to David and Dwayne. I lean up giving him a kiss before laying down and turning around facing the wall. I felt the bed shift, and my hair being moved to the side before feeling Paul's lips on my shoulder, I close my eyes enjoying the peppered kisses. Slowly I turn my head and connect his lips with mine,he pulls me closer to him, and moves his hands down my thigh before bringing his hand back up grabbing my jaw. A moan leave me as as kisses my neck, " Almost morning " Paul said, he nips my neck causing me to gasp, closing my eyes I pull at his hair, he starts to suck on my neck hard before pulling away, I let out a groan causing him to smirk down at me, "Tease" I whisper he lets out a chuckle while bending down kissing my lips once more before standing up, " Looks like you have a problem" I said, taking notice of the hood in his pants, he frowns and looks down at me, " I know" he whines, letting out a small chuckleI almost feel bad for him. Paul leans over giving me one last kiss, " Night princess" he whispers before walking out of the room.
Laying back I let out a small groan, damn you Paul.
