I came to on a platform, not knowing where I was. I took a good look around, which frightened me deeply. I noticed other platforms, all of which had a figure on top of them. They seemed soulless, as they are a bit transparent.
But two figures stood out to me. On a platform that was just a few feet north away from me, were extremely recognizable figures. My parents. I jumped out of sheer fright and shock, not believing what I was seeing.
Their soulless eyes stared deep into me. I was beginning to feel weak, but then a figure appeared behind them. Giratina. He had a devious grin, and then spoke.
"Jayden...you've failed your parents, don't you think? You've failed everyone you've ever known. And don't think the entire world will be an exception. The entire world will be mine. They shall feel my wrath, for all the pain they've given me." Giratina said, with his demonic voice.
"What have they done to you!?" I screamed, but it came out as a soft whisper.
"You're just plain ignorant. It's disgusting." Giratina said. "It is the end of days. You fools shall perish. But oh wait! Jayden will of course stop me!" Giratina chuckled. "Just remember, once I'm finished, it would've all been your fault. Goodbye for now..." Giratina said with a mischievous
My parents then started chanting my name. "Jayden! Jayden! Jayden! Jayden!" They said in a demonic voice. It was nothing like their normal voices.
I looked at them, confused, shocked, and terrified. I began backing away, so horrified I was not able to say a word, without realizing that I was going to walk straight off the platform. I walked off, screaming as I prepared to feel the sensation of falling for possibly forever.
I wasn't free falling, though. I was in my cabin, still in bed. I looked towards the cabin door, ready to get out of bed, when I see Taylor backing away from me.
"Jay...a-are you ok?" she asked in a worried voice.
"Y-yeah...I think..." I stuttered, confused. I still felt like I was on that platform.
I wiped my forehead with the back of my hand, revealing to myself that I was extremely sweaty. "W-what...?" I muttered. "Whatever." I got up, but had a hard time walking, stumbling around as if my legs were made of jelly. Regardless, I began to walk outside of the cabin, gently pushing Taylor aside.
I began to walk down the hallway, but I was suddenly stopped by Hailey.
"Jayden, what the hell happened to you!?" She inquired as she put the back of her hand on my forehead, checking my temperature.
"I...I don't know..." I softly replied. "Where even are we?"
"We're at Hoenn." She exclaimed. I took a good look around. It look absolutely beautiful, just plain breathtaking. There were Wingull flying in the sky, lush trees, and of course, lots of water.
I pushed Hailey aside and began to exit the ship. We had arrived at a downright beautiful shoal. Right as I got off, I got a nice handful of the ocean water, splashed my face, refreshing myself. I continued to do so, until I felt someone tapping on my shoulder.
"You ok there?" The mystery person said. The voice obviously belonged to a young man. I turned around to be met with a light-blue haired man, whom I instantly recognized. He was Steven. Steven Stone, champion of Hoenn.
"Wow...y-you're Steven Stone!" I said in a childish, excited voice. Can you blame me, though? It's not everyday you meet the champion of Hoenn.
He chuckled. "Why yes I am. And you are?" He asked, extending his hand. I didn't even realize I was still crouched down, which was quite embarrassing.
I quickly got up and shook his hand. "I'm Jayden! Jayden Flynn. I come from the Sinnoh region."
"Ah. Have you come alone, Jayden?" He said, with a worried and confused look on his face.
I realized the rest have yet to get off the ship. I cupped my mouth and screamed towards the ship. "Hey guys, get over here!!"
Colin peeked his head outside of his cabin. When he saw Steven, he gasped and ran towards us as fast as he can. When he reached us, the first thing he said was: "H-hi Steven" in an embarrassing stutter. I got the feeling we were giving off the impression of fanboys.
Steven chuckled softly once again. "And who may you be?" He asked Colin.
Colin blushed. "Oh, I'm Colin! Colin Merit." Colin was about to speak, until he was cut off by another familiar voice, which was coming from the ship.
We looked towards the ship to see Hailey and Taylor. "Hello there." Hailey said, looking at Steven, blushing with a sparkle in her eyes. Steven shook her hand, then kissed the back of it, in true gentlemen fashion.
"And who may you be?" Steven said, also blushing.
Colin giggled until I punched him in the arm, another way of telling him to shut up. Hailey just rolled her eyes at Colin, and went back to talking to Steven. "I'm Hailey Merit."
"It's a pleasure to meet you a-" Steven spoke, until he was cut off by another familiar voice.
"Hi there!" It was Taylor. She had a big smile on her face. Steven crouched down to her level and let out a small chuckle. "I'm Taylor Flynn!" Taylor said.
"Hello Taylor." Steven said. "I'm guessing that's all of you...?"
"Yes." I answered.
"Ok, that's fine." Steven said. "Now let's get going. We have a lot to do."
We had a long day ahead of us.
