Interrogation

Unbeknownst to Greninja and Harley, their destination was at the other end of the building. At the end of a long hall sat a door, leading to an interrogation room of some sort. It was decorated with two chairs and a table between them. The table had some sort of button system, with a red and green button on either end.

Lucien was already sitting on one of the chairs, patiently waiting for his 'guest' to arrive. He rested his hands on the table, drumming his fingers on its cool metallic surface. A moment later, a brunette by the name of Abby walked through the door, pulling the Greninja roughly as it thrashed in its chains. Trailing just behind it was Harley. He watched closely as Abby guided the pokémon to the other chair. She attached metal cuffs around its wrists, ankles and abdomen before roughly removing the bag from its face, while Harley stepped closer to it. It blinked for a moment before it's gaze focused on him. For the briefest moment he could see the sharp intelligence and blazing anger in its eyes as it thrashed about, trying to free itself. After realizing it was a foolish effort, it's eyes glazed over and its head lowered.

Lucien silently watched. He knew that the Greninja could easily drop the whole sad and utterly exhausted façade it was using at any moment. After all, it wasn't stupid. No matter, Lucien was prepared. After all, he prized himself for always making sure he had the upper hand on any pokémon, whether they were intelligent or not. And greninja were, according to common knowledge, undoubtedly quite clever and cunning.

"Before we begin, I'm going to release one of your wrist restraints. Don't you dare try anything, otherwise you'll be severely punished." Lucien barked as he withdrew a remote from his pocket, before flipped a switch on it.

With a loud click, the metallic restraint around Greninja's right wrist released, allowed the Pokémon to lift it. It gave it a shake, trying to relieve the slight ache from the tight restraint.

"Now," He began. "I know that you can understand me, but unfortunately, the same cannot be said for myself. There's no point in trying to talk this out, so, let's try something else." He brushed a hand over the green button on the left side of the Greninja. "This means yes, true, and agree." He brushed a hand over the red button on its right side. "This means no, false, and disagree." He looked up at the pokémon. "Do you understand?"

It stared at him for a moment before moving its hand to touch the green button.

"Great," Lucien grinned. "If you're not sure how to answer, or if the answer is more complicated than a simple yes or no answer, use the space in the middle. And, well... let's just say if you refuse to answer, I have four greninja in my lab. For every question you don't answer, I will kill one. Do you understand."

The Greninja turned its head away sharply, letting out a snort, almost as if it didn't believe him.

Lucien's grin turned into a sneer. "Oh, you don't believe me. Fine. I'll show you." He snapped his fingers. A grunt brought him a laptop that looked like it had some sort of security footage playing. He brought it close so that the Greninja could see. "See for yourself."

The Greninja leaned forward just a bit, its gaze narrowing as it let out a horrific gasp. Harley placed a hand on its shoulder. Whether as a warning or as a reminder, Lucien couldn't tell nor did he care to.

The tape showed four greninja, all of them in cages. Someone was standing next to a cage, injecting something into one of them.

The Greninja looked up sharply. Its brows drew together and its lips drew back in a snarl.

Lucien smirked. "You will answer my questions. Unless, you want to be held responsible for the death of four members of your species? You don't want that now, do you?"
