Chapter 12: Infamous Squad

"I brought four new members- where'd the other one go?" Captain Yami looked around for Asta until Finral pointed under the big guy,

"Over there Cap" Apparently when our seniors ran to gather around Captain Yami they trampled over Asta, hence why he was under the bug guy. His face was obviously screaming for help and I pitied him while Captain Yami just asked why he was fooling around, Asta gave up trying to escape and slammed his face back onto the ground saying he wasn't.

(Y/N) POV

"These four are our other new members. Go introduce yourself" Captain Yami nonchalantly said, Asta, nodded and started

"I'm Asta from Hage Village! It's nice to meet all of you!" I started next,

"I'm (Y/n) also from Hage Village, grateful to have this opportunity." I smiled at the end

"Hello I'm Carmen from the Santi family, a pleasure to meet all of you" Carmen waved

"I'm Karma and this is Lazeran both from the Santi family, pleased to make your acquaintance" Karma also introduced his fire hound.

"Hage? Seriously? Talk about sticks." the fastball guy spoke, I was a bit annoyed at that comment but it was true.

"Hey, introduce them to the other members." Captain Yami cut in, and Finral quickly began introducing the member individually.

"Oh, right. Well, you've already met him, but... This is Gordon Agrippa." He pointed to the guy with black circles around his eyes who stood beside him,

"Nice to meet you," Gordon said, Finral continued

"He's pretty gloomy, and you never know what he's thinking, but he's a good guy. And over here is Vanessa Enoteca," Finral faced the pink-haired lady who is now known as Vanessa.

"She'll get in your face when she's drunk, but she's a good person." Vanessa retorted back to him

"I won't get in anyone's face. Hage... Isn't that a small village out in the boonies?" Asta answered 'yes' proudly, Vanessa then stood up and got close to Asta saying

"To come out in the boonies and join the Magic Knights... You must've worked hard, little boy. How about I reward you with a special treat." I swore I saw sparkles around Asta and Vanessa just for him to get a nosebleed, to be honest, I found it quite amusing but Asta could say otherwise. Before Asta could reply Vanessa vomited rainbows right beside him.

"Let's continue with the introductions," Finral suggested, the lightning blondie then raised his hands saying he was next.

"This is Luck Voltia. He loves to fight and is obsessed with battle, but he's a good guy." Finral introduced Luck to us,

"Nice to meet ya!" Luck smiled, then he went to Karma asking if he likes to fight. Karma replied with 'not necessarily' but Luck said he loves to fight and asked Karma if he would fight with him, Karma replied that he would during sparring matches. On Carmen's side, the brunette who always looked in his mirror was holding a photo of a young girl up to her face with blood trickling down his nose.

"Look, this is my little sister Marie. She's an angel. Listen well. If you lay a finger on Marie, I'll kill you." When he said 'I'll kill you he got up close to Carmen and with a duty to protect the Santi Family, Lazeran jumped and attempted to bite the brunet's leg but he jumped away just in time to avoid Lazeran's fiery bite.

"This is Gauche Adlai. He is a bit too obsessed with his little sister, but he's a good guy." Lazeran continued to growl at the man now known as Gauche until Karma told him to stop, Finral then pointed his hand at the small girl who ate desserts during the ruckus.

"This is Charmy Pappitson. She eats way too much, but she's a good person." Charmy raised her fist then replied with a 'Nice to meet you, 

"This is Grey. I don't get him, but he's a good guy." I had the chills as I continued to look at the smoke still seeping out of Grey's mouth,

"H-hi..." Asta managed to spit out of his uncomfortable position,

"Then we have Magna Swing. He's a delinquent, but he's a good guy." Magna stared at Asta through his lavender-tinted shades while gritting his teeth in an intimidating way,

"And I'm Finral Roulacase. I'm super popular. And last but not least, the Captain of the Black Bulls, Yami Sukehiro!" Finral introduced Captain Yami as the final member of the Black Bulls proudly, and I was happy to see that all the members hold their Captain in high regard. Asta was full of gratitude and bowed his head to Captain Yami and Finral.

"Thank you for having us."

"There are other members, but they're either on some mission, taking a break, or slacking off. Try to get along with them, you bunch" Captain Yami finished the introductions briefly, and as if our minds had become one we simultaneously thank Captain.

"Yes! We will get along. Once again it's nice to meet you all," Carmen and Karma all said this normally but Asta shouted it with gusto.

"Your height and the volume of your voice are all out of proportion kid." Captain Yami commented on Asta, it was supposedly an insult but Asta just agreed with him. In irritation, Captain Yami told him to shut up with a scary face, and like an anti-magic bird facing a lion, Asta said sorry in the softest voice he could do. Captain Yami then faces our seniors,

"Anyway, put them to work, but don't kill them." I sweat-dropped while Asta expressed his worries vocally.

"Did you hear that?" Magna stood up and Asta replied with a 'what?'

"Mister Yami said to put you to work. I'll gladly put all of you newbies to work. A weak-looking shrimp like you from a village out in the boonies... I barely sense any mana from you, and you're a new member of the Black Bulls? I don't know what a hick like you with no magical powers did to get on Mister Yami's good side, but..." I was quite annoyed with his remarks about Asta and was about to cut in when he asked Asta a question,

"You want one of these Black Bulls' robes?" I was in shock cause up till now he was just dissing Asta and now he asks him if he wanted the Black Bulls robe.

"A-a Magic Knight robe! S-so cool!" Asta was flabbergasted by the sudden question but was amazed by the robe at the same time.

"Isn't it, do you want one?" Magna shouted at Asta,

"I do! Please give me one!" Asta shouted back with sparkling eyes, and I'm not sure if it was my imagination or not, I saw a hand come out of Asta's mouth.

"Oh, yeah. You want it that badly, huh? In that case... You're going to convince me, Mister Yami's #1 Man and a man's man, Magna Swing! Time for your initiation into the Black Bulls." Magna said with an intimidating stance.

Haaa~ just in time before the end of the day, I made a mistake last time I will publish a new chapter every Saturday

Damn I made a mistake I forgot to publish this chapter, I'm so sorry 😞 I'll publish the next chapter on Friday to make up
