Friends? // Luke Hemmings

Chapter 1

Okay so another fanfic I know I don't have many reads on my stories but I love writing so here goes nothing

Jessica's POV

I got home from another boring day at school, well at least it's Friday!

I got o my room and flung myself on my bed

I took out my phone, I had 2 missed calls and 4 messages from Luke, and a message from my boyfriend Austin

Luke: hey :D xx
Did you get home okay? Xx
Are you okay? Xx
Jess! Xx

I opened the messages and laughed a little I messaged him back to reassure him I wasn't dead

Luke I'm fine I had to walk home remember? Thanks anyway 😂 xx

I opened the text from Austin it was just a simple "hey x"

So I just answered "hi x" back

At that moment I heard a car horn coming from out the front

I looked out to find Luke, Ashton, Michael, and Calum waving and shouting

In friends with all of them but I'm closest to Luke, we have been friends as long as I can remember

I ran downstairs and went over to the car

"are you ready to go?" Luke says smiling

"Oh shit! I forgot you had practice... Give me like two minutes" I said running back into the house

I quickly brushed my hair and done light makeup

I ran out the door grabbing my keys and my phone

I hopped into the back of Ashton's car with Calum and Michael

"Hey guys" I said fastening my seat belt

"Hey" they all said collectively

"You ready to go" Ashton asks

"Yeah I am now" I say laughing

We drove to Michael's house, where they practice

They made up a band called '5 seconds of summer'

They get some small gigs, I make sure I'm there for all of them

They set up their guitars and Ashton practices drums

I sat listening to them and I might have filmed them secretly

Luke hates it when I film them, whoops!

I sat laughing to myself and Luke runs over

"Jess..." He whines

"Luke..." I mimic him

"you know I hate it when you film us.."

"That's why she does it" Michael chuckles

I raise my eyebrows trying to keep a straight face and end up laughing

After the guys pack up we all walk out to ash and Michael's car

"Do you guys wanna grab something to eat?" Michael asks

"God do you only think about your stomach?" Calum laughs

"Yes, yes I do" he says seriously

We all laugh

"How about pizza?" I add

"Finally a good idea" Michael says "can we go like now?... I'm starving!"

"Of course you are" I say rolling my eyes
