When I heard my alarm go off Tuesday morning, my eyes shot open and I sprung out of bed.
Today's the day!!
I got dressed and drove to school as quickly as I could (I followed the speed limit, I promise!). I. Could. Not. Wait!

Finally, the day was over! My parents bought two season tickets so I could bring my friends or family. Since it was my first game though, my parents made me bring my older brother, Charlie. He was a sophomore in College at University of Calgary. He knew his way around Vancouver and especially Rogers Arena. My brother would show me the ropes and then my parents said I could do it on my own or with friends.
After school, I went home to wait for Charlie.
Please hurry. Please hurry.
I'd only been home for maybe 15 minutes until I saw his big black pick up pull into the driveway. I grabbed my small purse and I was out the door in the blink of an eye!
"Charlie!" I screamed as I opened the door. I leaned over and gave him a big bear hug.
With a laugh, he said "nice to see you too! Ya ready for your first Canucks game?" He smiled as he pull out of our driveway. We live about an hour from Vancouver. An hour and a half if traffic was bad."I am so excited!" I smiled, unable to contain my excitement.
"You're gonna have a blast, I know it!" He'd been to three NHL games in his life, two in Vancouver. One in Calgary. I watched out the window as trees and farms flew by.
I wonder what the games gonna be like. What if I get to meet one of the players? I hope we win! Gosh we better win, it's the first home game of the season!

It'd been almost an hour when the skyscrapers of Vancouver in the distance pulled me out of my thoughts.
Then I saw it, Rogers Arena. It looked so much more awesome in person.Tonight is gonna be amazing!
Charlie Parkes his truck nearby and we took the short walk to the arena.
Wow... these buildings are huge!
I'd only been to Vancouver once before, but I was little and I don't really remember it. I admired the architecture of every single thing I saw, especially Rogers Arena. My heart had already started racing and we hadn't even entered the arena yet. I smiled to myself as I looked around at the other people wearing their Canucks gear. It made me glad to be a fan of the greatest team in Canada.
When we entered the big glass doors, the only thing I could manage to say was "wow!" This place was amazing! I scaned the area, noticing every little scuff on the floor, every ticket booth, every poster and every person.
We were obviously there pretty early (I told Charlie I didn't want to be even a second late) so we were first in the ticket line. The security lady told us we would have to wait 32 more minutes until it opened. I grabbed Charlies muscular arm and squeezed it softly. "Thank you so much!" I muttered. He looked down at me with a smile. And with a little chuckle he declared "anything for you, little Ann." Little Ann was his nick name for me. He had been calling me that since I was born.
I stood next to him, the minutes dragging on and on and on so I played Family Feud on my phone until finally, the security woman looked at me with a smile and said, "It's time!" The gates were now open.
It's time I repeated My first NHL game!
A/N: sorry this chapter was a little boring. Please rate and comment though! :)
