The next days dragged on and on and on. I ended up day dreaming about the game at school rather than learning. Finally, the week of the game rolled around. I already had my outfit picked out: skinny jeans, my Daniel Sedin jersey and teal converse. It was going to be perfect.
It was Monday, the day before the game. At school, Emily, another one of my friends (who loves the Canucks almost as much as me) ran up to me. "OMG! How pumped are you for the game?! You are the luckiest girl I know!" She gasped "what if Kevin Bieska sees you and falls in love?" (She was in love with him, like deeply in love). "Ohhhh! Annie you're gonna have so much fun!!"
I laughed "Thanks Em. And if Bieska talks to me, I'll let him know that you said hi "
She squealed "you would do that?!"
"Of course I would!"
"Ohhh! Annie, you are awesome!" She hugged me just as the bell rang for first hour rang. She ran towards the science wing of the school. "See ya next hour" she called over her shoulder.

It was 5th hour. I stared at the clock, willing it to tick by faster. There was 20 minutes left of history class.

Could this class be any slower?

I thought to myself. I took out my phone, it's not like the Vikings were that important when the the Canucks game was tomorrow (I will admit, the Vikings were pretty awesome dudes). I check my Vancouver Canucks app. I state at the little whale logo that brought me so much happiness. I glance over to the other teams logo, an ugly little flaming 'C'. The Calgary Flames. Man, did I hate them. They were on of the Canucks biggest rivials. We had to win this game. I checked all the stats, they looked to be in our favor.

I sure hope they are right.

Finally, the bell rang, only one more hour until I could go home. The sooner I got home and went to bed, the sooner I would wake up and the sooner I would go to the game!

I cannot wait!!

I thought on my way out the door of history class.
"ANNIE!" I heard a voice screech down the halllway "get over here!" It was Megan. We had 6th hour together (the only class we had together, sadly ). I picked up my pace and met her by her locker.
"Hey, Megan!" I said with a smile.
"I cannot believe the game is already tomorrow! You better take tons of pictures!" We both squealed.
"Don't you worry! I will take thousands!" I laughed.
"You better take me to a game sometime! You still owe me!" She winked. She took me took a Canucks meet and greet last season where we both met Ryan Miller, Daniel Sedin, Derek Dorsett and Bo Horvat. It was one of the best days of my life.
"Okay, okay, I promise!" I held out my pinky. She held hers out too. "I pinky promise" (the most sacred of all promises). We smiled, then laughed as we headed off to English class to together.
