Worst enemy to first love

7:00 December 21st

And hour before prom starts

I get back in my car after talking to atlas, my mascara is ruined form crying.
I look back at him he's still crying.
We lock eyes for a split second before we both look away.

I head to Leo's house, he's already outside when I get to his house, he's about to leave.
He's  all dressed up.
"LEO!!

"Mia what are u doing here?

"Look leo just listen to me,I'm hoping you don't freak out about what I'm about to say but bassicly,
I think I'm love with you,Wait no I am in love with you and I think I have been for a while.
and I know i ended things when we were kids but I think I was just scared of loosing you.
"And I don't know why it took me so long to say this to you, I pushed my feelings so deep down to a point where I was just pushing myself away from you because I didn't want to feel how I knew I felt.
And the morning after the party whenI realised you took care of me, I think that's when I realised how I felt about you.
The way u made me feel that morning
Had absolutely nothing to do with anyone else
And everything to do with you.
I was falling in love that morning because of you"

Leo looks at me pauses,
Then he grabs me, Leans in and kisses me.

Then he stops.

"Mia I've been in love with you for as long as I can remember, you are immensely talented and beautiful and I wouldn't dream of being with anybody else.

I smile at him.
He smiles back.

He looks at his phone 7:50 pm
"Okay okay come on let's go we're gonna be late"
He hops in the drivers seat of my car and we head to prom.
When we get there, I feel like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
We dance and dance till we couldn't dance anymore, we kiss again and again and again.
It was the best night of my life and I wouldn't have wanted to experience with anyone else.

We go back to his house for the rest of the night.
We watched high school musical all 3 of the movies, well we tried to anyways.
I rember falling asleep on him like halfway through the second movie.

"Leo is all I ever wanted, i was was looking for someone for so long and I didn't realise that they had been under my nose this entire time"
