What if...
Vance had just gotten out of jail from a fight with a knife. His parents were disappointed in him so they didn't want to pick him up or have anything to do with him at all. The jail was 45 minutes away from Vance's house. He was annoyed while walking cause of how far it was till the Grabber's black van pulled up next to him. The grabber got out of the car and asked if Vance wanted a ride home. Vance gladly accepted it so he wouldn't have to walk home. Right when Vance realised they were going the wrong way and told the Grabber, the Grabber put the spray is his eyes and mouth.
