Huening kai POV

Is it possible for someone to be this handsome, so handsome that your heart skips a beat every time they look at you? lying down beside me, a sleeping Soobin clinging to my side as he doves off into dream land, looking as adorable as ever.

We would often stay at home together when the rest of the group would go out and have fun.

I'd been meaning to confess, but I just haven't found the right time. Which I know is silly because we're always together if we had a choice. There's been a couple of times where the members have called Soobin out on his interest in me and each time he denied it jokingly, like he doesn't have a clue about what they were talking about, and other times he would indirectly say he likes me, so you can tell how this man drives me crazy with his mixed signals. With that said, I really have no idea how he would react if I just straight out told him I liked him.

But if I keep this secret another day, I swear I'll combust.

I reached out my hand a bit, reaching closer and closer towards his face. smirking at the fact that Soobin only wishes to share rooms with me, so I get to see him like this all the time.

'Just a little closer,' I thought before my hand was snatched faster than I could register.

I blinked a couple of times before looking into his not-so-sleepy eyes.

'Has he been awake this whole time?'

"H-hey, hyung, did I wake you?" I innocently said.

"Hüening..were you trying to touch my face just now?" He smoothly said, propping himself over onto his side, his gaze making me unable to speak. I felt like I'd been caught doing something I wasn't supposed to. I mean, what normal dud wants to touch his friends' faces when they are sleeping.

"What?" I said out loud.

"Huh...what do you mean what?" he said, confused.

"N-nothing. And I wasn't going to touch your face. That's weird. "Good night," I said before turning my back towards him, forcing my eyes shut.

"Huenninggie, talk to me. You woke me up. Take responsibility." He whined all the while trying to turn me over to face him.

"You were never asleep," I mumbled before I was roughly turned on my back.

Before I knew what was happening, he had climbed on top of me, proceeding to attack my abdomen with tickles non-stop. I wracked out the weirdest sounds I've ever made as I cried for him to stop. I was near to tears.

"I hate you. Do you know that?" I said between breaths as the laughter died down.

"No you don't," he said as he crossed his arms, and I laughed, shaking my head. I glanced up towards his face before boldly leaning forward, pushing myself up on my elbows

"You're right. I kind of love you." As soon as the words slipped through my mouth, I immediately felt regretful as he looked at me emotionless. blinking down at me. He opened his mouth but then closed it again. I felt a cold wash over me and I immediately felt like crawling into a whole and dying right then and there.

"Omg don't take it too seriously. I-I was only kidding," I stuttered as I lied down, not looking him in the eyes.

"Don't do that," he suddenly said.

"Do what?" I timidly asked

"Lie to me. At least not when it's just the two of us, "he said, finishing with a sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair, and all I could do was stare.

"I like you too," Soobin said as he looked at me through his bangs

I dumbly asked. "You do."

"Yeah, Couldn't you tell? I'm kind of crazy about you even when I try not to be. Taehyun even said I was obvious, but I guess I couldn't help myself. " He said, lacing his hands through mine before pulling me up quickly.

"You're so adorable it drives me insane, and I..." he said as he tucked my hair behind my ear and slid a finger over my lips.

"You want to kiss me, don't you?" I said, and he nodded his head like a puppy.

"I'm not that type of guy. Be my boyfriend first, "I said, smiling like a fool.

'That's a lie. Just kiss me now'

Soobin groaned before leaning forward and dropping his head against my shoulder.

"Gladly. There's nothing I want more " he whispered as he turned his face towards my neck, leaving my skin tingling as his breath fanned against it.

I turned to look at him and our eyes met.

"I'm going to kiss you in three seconds, and if you feel uncomfortable at any point, let me know," he said, and I slowly nodded my head.

"Yeah," I said quietly.

"Okay."

"Okay," I repeated as I stared into his eyes, focusing on nothing else.

And just like that, our lips met. It was sweet and innocent, but I loved it.
