" I can't be with him Jenn." A sigh escapes my lips as I wipe the tears running down my face.
My best friend looks me in the eyes with sympathy laced in her features.
I sniffle attempting to stop my runny nose.
"Fight for what you want Darcy. Don't stay stuck in the friend zone for the rest of your life."

Darcy and Nate have been best friends since they grew their first pimple. Okay okay maybe that was the wrong term, they've been besties since middle school . We all know that's when everyone gets their first pimple and goes through puberty.
These two high school friends, are now Seniors. Through the ups and downs in the friendship with crazy girlfriends or boyfriends trying to tear them apart, they've stuck together the past 7 years. However no matter how much they try to say "We are just friends." to people , we all know they are just stuck in the friend zone with each other.
