we make eye contact, and iris' mouth drops open. "oh shit..." i mutter, slowly taking off the pink sunglasses. "what the fuck!" iris yells, walking closer as she shuts the door closed, eyes still on me. "oh my god..." olivia joins in, standing up. "theres no point covering it up... um, i'm y/n." i say, standing up and putting my hands out to her. she laughs, shaking it. "oh my gosh! this is crazy, wow. how long have you known, liv?!" she asks olivia, both of us looking at her. "since new years," she answers, looking at me. "did you guys kiss on new years?!" she asks excitedly. olivia stares at me for permission, and i nod at her. "yeah, we did." "this is crazy!" she yells, laughing as she looks at me, "you are so pretty!" she says, smiling at me. "thank you," i say, smiling too. "i promise i won't tell anyone! i swear on my life, my mom's life, my boyfriend's life, olivia's life!" she says. i relax my shoulders, nodding, "thanks, i really appreciate it."
after we talk for a few minutes, iris decides to give us some privacy and leave, closing the door behind her. i look at liv, throwing back the sunglasses. she catches them, sitting beside me. "you okay?" she asks, placing her hand on my shoulder. "yeah, that was just... a lot," i say, chuckling. "she won't say anything. she's kept my secrets for years now," liv assures. "hope so," i say, putting on a smile. "trust me," she says, patting my shoulder softly before standing up. she packs up her clothes back into the duffel bag, putting it in her closet.
i lay on olivia's bed, and she turns off the lights, using her phone's flashlight to guide her back to the bed. she lands her body on me, and i groan, scrunching my face. "sorry," she says, chuckling. "it's okay," i respond, closing my eyes and wrapping my arms around olivia. "goodnight, rodrigo." "goodnight, parker."
we walk out to olivia's balcony, and she lifts my mask up. "text me when you get home, 'kay?" she asks, smiling. "will do," i respond. liv's hands slide up to my jaw, moving closer. we both tilt right, and our lips connect.
the kiss went on for around 4 seconds, before liv and i pull apart, going back in once we catch our breaths. olivia's kisses were full of passion and love, which made it so much more pleasing from my other kisses i've got. pulling away, liv smiles, looking at my lips then back into my eyes.
"i'll see you later," i say, smiling as olivia pulls down my mask gently. "swing safe," she says as i stand onto the balcony railing.

i stare at my nanotech chamber, watching the nanoparticles move in a circle. pursing my lips, i tap my foot, giving in to my hesitation. i walk to the chamber, taking off the device and clipping it onto the loose jeans i was wearing, covering it with a jacket.
i bring my film camera and my normal camera, placing it in my backpack. getting into my car, i drive to the location liv sent to me.
i pull up to the house, parking on the curb. i get out, pulling small suitcase and a small duffel bag on top. i get greeted by olivia's team, and olivia comes out of the house. "morning!" she says, dropping her bag and running to me. "morning liv liv," i say, wrapping my arms around her as she collides into me. she jumps, wrapping her legs around my waist. i spin her around with a laugh, putting her back down.
olivia picks up her bags again, and i quickly take out my film camera from my backpack. "liv," i say, getting her attention. "3, 2, 1," i count down, taking the picture as the camera flashes.
after liv's team agrees that iris, liv and i go in the jeep, the crew following behind, i get in the passenger seat, liv in the drivers and iris in the back. "so, you need at least 60 minutes of recording for this trip, alright?" joseph, a member of the camera crew, says through the rolled down window on my side. "got it," i say, taking the camera he handed me. "try and make it interesting," he says. "we're always interesting," i say, smiling.
20 minutes in, i take out my laptop, connecting my film camera to it via a cable. "hey, are you filming right now?" iris asks. "no," i answer, clicking on the picture i took for liv. "okay, i wanna talk about you being spider-woman! i have a thousand questions," iris says excitedly. i laugh, so does liv. "okay, first question..." she says. i look in the rear mirror, seeing iris holding her phone. "do you seriously have a list of questions?" i ask, laughing. "yeah, i thought of them over 3 days!" she says proudly. "okay first one, what's it like being spider-woman?" i laugh again, starting to edit the picture. "it's great, honestly." "seems great. favorite thing to do while being spider-woman?" she asks the next question. "hanging out with liv on the wilshire building," i say, looking at liv who was smiling as she watched the road, "or saving the city," i answer, shrugging with a smile.
"okay last question, does liv scream a lot when you guys swing around the city?" she asks the last question out of the 40. olivia and i burst out laughing, nodding. "yeah, first time we swung she yelled so loud the whole city could hear her. she's not so loud now," i answer. "it's really nice!" liv chips in. "i can take you around some day if you want," i offer. "no thanks, height for me is a big no," she declines.
i airdrop the picture to my phone, turning off my laptop and picking up the camera joseph gave me. i lean against the door, positioning myself and aiming the camera at olivia. she keeps her eyes on the road, and i press record. we already had 20 minutes of recording, and we weren't even 2 hours in. i smile, recording her. she wore a black, fluffy bucket hat and her black jacket, holding the steering wheel with her right hand as the left was leaned again the window.
recording her for around 10 seconds, i press stop. i smile, watching back over it. "cutie," i mumble, turning off the camera. i look up as olivia chuckles, shaking her head as she looks at me, smiling.
3 hours in, we stop at a service station, olivia's team bus behind us. "want me to fill up?" i offer, "i can also drive after if you'd like." "that'd be great," she says, smiling. i smile back, getting out of the car, going around.
i walk back to the car with 2 coffee's in hand, talking to liv's team and band for a few minutes. i open the driver's door, getting in as liv was already sat in the passenger seat. i place the coffees in the cup holder between us, iris not wanting any. "alright, we're going to this house to shoot 'happier', then we're continuing to go to salt lake," she says, pointing to the gps on her phone that was on the stand, connected to the car. "got it," i say, starting up the car. i start to drive, seeing liv's bus in the rear mirror.
my phone buzzes, and liv picks it up, handing it to me. i swipe accept, bringing the phone to my ear, driving with my left hand. "hey may," i say, "you're up early." "i know, gotta get in for work. how's the road trip?" she asks. "it's going great so far, 3 hours in." aunt may laughs, and i smile, turning right. "how was your sleep?" i ask. "it was great," she responds, "how's olivia feeling about this?" "i'll let you talk to her," i say, taking the phone off my ear and putting it on speaker. i hand the phone to liv, who takes it with a smile. "hi may!" she says, excitedly. "olivia! how are you?" aunt may asks over the phone. "i'm amazing, how are you?" "i'm good, how's the trip?" she asks the same question. "very fun, my friend iris and y/n are keeping me very entertained," liv says, still smiling. "i hope y/n's not annoying you," may says, laughing. "oh, she's annoying the hell out of me. i'm kidding, she's been very well behaved," she teases, looking at me with a grin.
aunt may hangs up, and liv places my phone back on the center console. liv looks behind her, seeing iris sleeping. she laughs, picking up the camera she stretches her arm slightly out, filming herself. "3 and a half hours in and iris is already sleeping!" she says, moving the camera behind her to show iris, body against the window. "it's just me and you, y/n." she says, looking at me as she films me. "i'm not gonna fall asleep," i say, picking up my coffee cup and drinking it. "i hope you don't, you're driving," she says, smiling at me. "if this document never gets published, you'll know why," i say, smiling back at liv, then at the camera.
