Chases nightmare

"Pups,time for bed" there owner told them out loud and they all realized that they had to continue tomorrow morning.

All the pups went to there beds and climbed into them(I don't know how these beds work okay don't take it out on me)Once inside and under there covers they fell asleep,Chase however took a little bit longer to fall asleep but when he did he did not have a pleasant dreaming experience.

He woke up inside of a moving red truck. "What's going on,where am I." The pup thought. "Why do I feel so small." He looked down and to his surprise he was big as Ryder's hand. "Good morning Chase, you sure slept well didn't you?" A unseen voice said but strangely he felt as if he heard it before. "What's going on?"the young pup asked the man. "We are going to the park remember, Chase". "The park , wait!"the pup realized with a sudden flash in his mind that he went through this before, this was when he was abandoned by his previous owners.

Chase (understandably) was terrified by this and begged him to take him back home. "No no ,please I don't want to go through this again, please stop!" The pup begged and screamed, the owner however seemed oblivious to his pups terror and simply replied "I know I'm excited too." Once they had arrived at there destination the mysterious owner reached into the back of the car and picked Chase up, he then opened the door and put the terrified pup down, he then closed the door and drove while Chase began to run after the car, unfortunately he tripped and was left stranded where it all began.

He began running and running all over the street avoiding all the people until he got to a zebra crossing that he ran over, what he didn't notice is that day had suddenly shifted to night and that a truck was heading right for him. He tried to move out of the way but his paws were stuck to the road as the truck came ever closer to him until.

"Aaaaaahhh." He screamed as he woke up convinced that he woke up the other pups but to his surprise the others were still asleep. Chase crawled out of his bed and walked down the stairs to stare at the city were he was abandoned with so many thoughts flowing in head but the biggest one was why was he abandoned in this terrible place and why he was forced to come back here, he stared at the elevator and thought to himself that he didn't help at all instead he only made mistakes and mistakes can't do any thing right, he began walking towards the elevator but was stopped when he heard a voice calling out to him "Chase what are doing?" He turned around and saw Skye standing at the bottom of the stairs. "Skye what are you doing up?" "I heard you screaming, is something wrong?" "Oh I-its nothing." He stuttered while hiding his fear but Skye knew some thing was wrong. "Chase please I know that your lying,that scream shows your scared please tell us." Skye said as all the other pups climbed down the stairs. All of the eyes staring at him began to make him nervous, he began stuttering trying to think of a way out of this situation but nothing came to his mind.
"Pups, what are doing up so late?" Ryder asked as he approached them, the pups said that they had heard Chase screaming "Chase is something wrong?" "I-I just had a nightmare but I'm fine I promise." "Chase" said his owner peacefully "Please don't lie you can tell us what it was." Chase considered and he then began to speak "I was back were you found me and I saw the crossing, I ran across it but I got stuck and I saw the truck coming towards me, I thought that you would stop it but you didn't come and then it ... it ... it."

Both the owner and the other pups were horrified at what he had dreamed, they had no idea how to react to this. Finally ,Ryder broke the ice and motioned Chase to come towards him, luckily Chase saw this and listened slowly moving towards him and then lied down in his arms. "Shh,shh it's okay, it's okay you're safe here." Ryder said attempting to comfort his terrified pup. The others were in shock seeing there strong and fearless leader suddenly so terrified of his old home, one by one they all came closer to him and huddled around him trying to protect and warm him.

"Ryder, what's going on I'm scared."
"I know Chase, I know." "Chase, it's okay, we will help you get through this." Marshall said attempting to comfort his brother "Chase" Skye began to speak "We had no idea that you were this scared of this place, but don't worry we will do our best to help you get through this." Said Skye before she moved and calmly kissed him on the cheek. After this Chase broke down into tears and sobbed and wept. All of his emotions that he had kept in his mind all this time until now had finally been released in the form of tears.

After Chase had let out his fears he yawned indicating that he was tired and wanted to return to sleep. "All right pups I think it's time to return to your beds." He said as he picked up Chase in his arms, "Ryder , can't I sleep with them." "Nope you are sleeping with me tonight."

He brought him back to his room and calmly placed him on his bed,Ryder
then also climbed into bed himself and pulled the duvet over him and Chase. The pup had moved up to Ryder's arms and Ryder put his arms around Chase and slowly drifted off to sleep.
