Everything falls silent for the moment , no one dares to move or say anything , just the sound of heavy breaths from sara and the echo of the slap is heard . Jungkook holds taehyung close with a firm grip while Mingyu holds Sara's hand as soon as they got their senses back but the suffocating silence only gets darker with the lack of movements from Hyun .
The male still has his head thrown to the side , eyes closed , breathing shallow and hands fisted on the side . Anyone can say he is trying to control himself but no one expected him to be gathering up his rage just to burst out .
How dare you , his voice echoes in the silence as he raises his hand to slap sara but the lady is fast enough to hold his hand , preventing the slap from landing on her cheek . Her eyes red . Everyone in the room gasps .

He looks up to see the chief police officer standing there . That is the moment he regretted coming here all defenseless .
You are under arrest for domestic violance , child abuse and attempt to murder Mr Kim , the chief says making the male to shake his head .

I do Mr Kim , you are a criminal , with that the constable comes in front to handcuff him which the man jerks .
He runs to jungkook who was standing there watching everything and before anyone could do anything , he holds him by his neck and presses a small knife over his throat . Jungkook's eyes tear up .
Don't you dare take a step or I'll kill him right here , everyone halts in their places specially taehyung . His mind gets all numb as soon as his eyes see the painful expressions adoring his baby's soft features . He is so close to losing it when he sees the sharp end of the metal pressing over that soft skin of his baby's neck and he definitely lost it when he sees a small drip of blood going down the porcelain skin . His eyes dart to the anxious male who is currently having his hands all over his baby where only his hands belong .
Running towards him in an instinct , taehyung pulls his hand away and he is so ready to stab the male with his own hand when jungkook holds his hand preventing his movements . Their eyes meet for a moment and the small shake of head with those pleading glassy eyes makes him stop . He sighs but nonetheless the grip on his father's hand which is holding the knife never fell loose . The chief comes and himself handcuffs the male after taking the knife from him . Three constables hold the male in place as the chief does his greetings and leave .
The last thing Hyun sees before walking out of the mansion is his wife looking at him with disgust before she breaks down completely in the arms of that man who took his happiness away . Oh how pathetically he failed as a husband .

It's been an hour and sara has not calmed down since then . She just can't believe how bravely she faced him , how strongly she stood up for herself in front of that beast , how her happiness could have been snatched away from her if she couldn't have stood for her own self . Mingyu and jungkook did try to calm her down but nothing worked and at last taehyung finally stands up from his sitting position and comes to his mom .
He crouches down in front of her and holds both of her hands making her look down at him as he softly smiles .
Stop crying eomma , you did great , he says but she just looks at him as more tears stream down her face . They both look at each other for a while before she pulls taehyung up to hug him and he hugs back . Soothingly circling her back as she mumbles ,
Please baby , forgive eomma , she , she failed badly as a mother , her hiccups does make his heart break as he shushes her ,
Shhh , calm down and listen to me . No one failed as anyone eomma . If anyone is there who was at fault and still is , is that man who is now in jail and will never come back in our lives . Yeah it's true I always wanted you by my side , i was upset to not have you , i envied others for having parents with them but trust me mom I knew better than anyone what you have done for me and what I should have done as a son back than so yeah stop remembering that past and start living a fresh . Ok ? My strong lady , he said the last words as he pulls her away from his chest and cups her cheeks . His last words make her chuckle and nod .
But you know what made me that strong to stand in front of him ? Taehyung makes a playful thinking face before shaking his head.
It was you . I was thinking of you and your childhood . How he took you away from me and how you must have survived . A mother's power you know , she winks making him chuckle as he replies with an "indeed" . No one saw jungkook standing at the corner crying his heart out missing his eomma , his moon , his love except sara herself .
She turns towards him and their eyes meet before she smiles softly and gestures him to come . Jungkook runs into her arms and hugs her tightly . She kisses his forehead and says ,
You are no less than a son to me koo and I am your eomma remember that . I love you both a lot , she kisses them both on the forehead before hugging them .
Mingyu who is smiling while sitting beside sara wraps his arms around the three while wiping his own tears and hugs them all . Indeed their family look totally complete and blessed in that moment .
