I'm getting rid of the idea of ship damage reflecting onto the KANSEN because it's stupid. You can see Pittsburgh's injury during the first battle as him tripping and falling during the ramming and falling on something sharp.

After spending their first day at the azur lane base, Pittsburgh and Hawkins are getting adjusted to life.

Pittsburgh and Hawkins are currently in the Admiral's room.

Pittsburgh: "So... let me get this straight.... Ships got given a human form due to some blue cubes so that humanity can fight against aliens called Sirens?"

Yorktown nodded slowly. She's currently sitting on the chair at the Admiral's bureau.

Hawkins: "And there is currently no Admiral in charge because high command doesn't want to get involved in this conflict, correct?"

Yorktown nodded again.
Yorktown: "That is correct, Hawkins. We haven't had an admiral in charge ever since The crimson axis split off from us. Our nations can't step in due to political complications with the crimson axis nations. At the moment Eagle Union officials are trying to diplomatically solve the situation with the nation of Iron Blood and their allies." She said this in a calm manner as she looked Hawkins in the eyes. She then turned her attention back to Pittsburgh.

Yorktown: "But it is quite strange that you don't have any knowledge of this." Yorktown was getting suspicious.

Pittsburgh was sweating a bit, he wanted to explain, but his story would sound crazy.

Pittsburgh's silence made Yorktown more suspicious, Hawkins noticed this and spoke out.

Hawkins: "Lady Yorktown, do you perhaps believe that there might be different universe?"

This piqued her interest as she raised an eyebrow.
Yorktown: "Well... The-"

Hawkins:"Well, what if i told you that Pittsburgh and i came from a different universe?."

Yorktown: "Well, that would explain why both of you are male." Her expression changed. "How can i believe you?"

Hawkins: "We can't pr-" Hawkins' calm voice got cut off by Pittsburgh as he slammed both of his hands on the desk where Yorktown is currently sitting at.

Pittsburgh: "This is a world where there are Ships given a human form, that isn't so normal itself, now is it?"

Yorktown slowly nodded, as he did have a point.

Pittsburgh: "Plus, you're fighting alien lifeforms who also take the form of ships sometimes, right?"

She nodded once again.

Pittsburgh looked at her in the eyes, as if he was trying to stare a hole through her.

Pittsburgh: "Now that isn't what i'd call normal myself. If you were transported to our universe, we wouldn't trust you too. Right now we can't prove it, but i hope you can trust us. We helped you defend against that crimson axis, we wouldn't do that if we had bad intentions."

Hawkins chimed in.

Hawkins: "I'm sure we'll be able to prove it later. But for now, you'll just have to trust us."

Yorktown: "Alright, i trust you two for now. Pittsburgh, since you're part of your universe's equivalent to the Eagle Union, you shall be under my command."
