Moving day. Those two words alone had set the tone for the rest of the day; excitement, anticipation and restlessness causing the family to practically dance around the apartment as they finished stacking the boxes full of packed items near the door. Even little Love had helped - in her own way. The impish girl was quick to grab her favorite toys out of the box Yo had packed over the past few days and scatter them around, as if to say they didn't belong in a box. But now the box was once again fully packed and taped shut, stacked along with all the other boxes of Love's belongings.

Yo wiped the thin sheen of sweat from his forehead, arching his back to stretch out the kinks as he surveyed the nursery where Love had lived, and was now completely empty of everything save the mural and wall stickers

Yo wiped the thin sheen of sweat from his forehead, arching his back to stretch out the kinks as he surveyed the nursery where Love had lived, and was now completely empty of everything save the mural and wall stickers. He still felt that eagerness to move into their new home and make it their own, but a small part of him viewed this as a new chapter, closing the last one on Love's early days.

So much had happened in this apartment...

Yo and Kasem had begun rekindling their father-son relationship, Pha and Yo had brought Love home from the hospital, Yo had re-learned to walk, and Love had spoken her first word. It was sad to leave behind so many memories. But there wasn't enough room here any longer, not with twins on the way. Moving into the bigger house was the only option.

Yo shoved the last box to the side, the last remnants of Love's belongings in it. Sheets, a few stuffies, and wooden blocks, packed to go to the new house. He smiled, remembering how spacious and beautiful Love's new room was. Their baby girl would be so happy there.

Arms tenderly wrapped around him from behind, giving him the gentlest hug ever. "Everything okay, baby?"

"Mhm," Yo hummed, nestling back into Pha's embrace. "Just...reminiscing, I guess. So many memories here."

"Yeah. But we have the majority of them captured in pictures in the album I made. We haven't lost the memories just because we're moving, Yo."

"I know."

"And we'll make even more memories. Love will continue to grow," Pha whispered in Yo's ear, dropping a gentle peck against his temple, "the twins will be born and come home with us there, and they'll have a beautiful bedroom to live in. Have you decided how to decorate it?"

"Hmmm...I'm trying to narrow down the options, but it's not easy," Yo grumped out. He wriggled around in Pha's hold until he was able to bury his face in his fiancé's chest. He let out a happy sigh, ignoring Pha's chuckle.

"Do you at least have a base color in mind?"

"Not really. The room seemed to have a white theme already," Yo told Pha. He shuffled towards the door, swallowing down a laugh as Pha moved with him, still attached to his back like an overgrown koala. Yo didn't say anything, enjoying the skinship with his future husband. "I figured we could keep the main color white, but add a splash of color here and there." He tipped his head and turned it enough to meet Pha's gaze. "What do you think? Babies can be messy and cause stains. Is white a bad idea?"
