"Ma ma, where daddy?" I look down to be met with the wide bright eyes of my 18 month old daughter, Mackenzie, and a confused look on her face.
"Daddy's playing footy, baby," I gently say to her as I bend down to pick her up. Placing her on my hip, I hear her begin to babble as she starts playing with my hair.
"Do you want to go surprise daddy, baby?" I ask her. A huge smile makes it way onto her face and she begins to squeal in excitement.
"Ya, Ya, Ya," She chants as I place her on the ground. As soon as her feet touch the ground, she runs - as fast as her legs will carry her - to her room. As soon as I hear her bedroom door shut, I make my way to mine and Jack's room to get ready.
A couple of minutes later, I hear little patters of feet on the floors, before I hear her yells. "Mumma, hurry up. I wanna see daddy!"
"Ok, baby, Mummy's just getting changed." Throwing on a pair of jeans, a white top, my white sneakers, and my Melbourne scarf, I make my way back to the living room.
Grabbing my handbag, phone, and keys off the bench, Kenzie and I hop into the car and make our way to the MCG.

After scanning our tickets, Kenzie and I go find our seats. Looking at the score board I can see they are just about to start the second half and Melbourne were up by 29 points.
Melbourne: 10 | 3 | 63
West Coast: 4 | 10 | 34
Looking back at the field I can see the little Auskicker's playing (they look so cute). Hearing the siren go, I see the Auskicker's run off the field and the footy players run on.
Hearing another siren go, the ball is bounced and the second half is underway.

The siren sounds, and the crowd goes wild. The boys have done it, they've won. 113 to 59. The song starts playing around the ground, almost everyone at the game singing along. Top spot on the ladder is now taken by the boys.
"It's a grand old flag
It's a high flying flag
It's the emblem for me and for you
It's the emblem of the team we love
The team of the red and the blue
Ev'ry heart beats true
For the red and the blue
And we sing this song to you
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
Keep your eye on the red and the blue!"
After the song has finished playing, Kenzie and I make our way down to the rooms. Entering the room, I pick Kenzie up to make sure I don't accidentally loose her in the sea of people already occupying the room.
After making it to where the other wives and girlfriends are standing, I place Kenzie on the ground. Weaving through people with a child in your arms is quite a hard job.
Hearing the boys enter the room, I grab Kenzie's hand to try and stop her from running at Jack. The boys gather in a circle and, with their lovely singing voices, they sing the song.
After the boys seperate from their huddle, I let go of Kenzie's hand and she runs straight at Jack. "DADDY!" She yells, as she runs into his open arms. "Hello baby, what are you doing here?" He questions her with a fake curious look on his face.
"Mummy and me surprise you," She says pointing in my direction. Walking over to Jack, he wraps his other arm around my waist and pulls me in for a kiss. Pulling away from our kiss, I look at Kenzie and she has a sad look plastered on her face.
"Aww, what's wrong Kenz?" I ask her with concern. "Daddy didn't give me kiss," She pouts. A laugh leaves both Jacks and I's mouths.
"Aww baby," Jack says as he places a quick kiss onto her lips. "Better?" He asks her with a smile on his face. "Better Daddy," She says as grin taking over her pouting expression. Kenzie then turns to me and sticks her tongue out, "Haha Mummy, Daddy gave me kiss too."
