Ate Vanessa Rodrigo born May 15, 1990 her dad Samuel went to Manila for work and sending them money for support. But years comes, her dad stop sending money and her mother left her after her dad stop sending them money.

She grew up with her grandmother and big brother, Ryan. She doesn't exactly remember her mom, and she doesn't know where her mom is now. Because her mom left her when she's little. But her grandmother didn't abandon her. Her grandmother taking of her and put her in school. Her grandmother take care of her and her brother Ryan.

Years comes, her brother Ryan went to Manila to look for their dad because their dad never contacted them for so many years since when they are little. But Ryan didn't come back. Until she's starting high school, her brother Ryan still didn't come back. Until she finished high school, her brother Ryan still didn't come back.
Then they don't have money to put her in college.
But one day someone came and wanted to help her study. But on one condition, she has to work for them. They agreed and trusted the people who wanted to help her. Because she was with one of their relatives nearby. She was taken to Manila.
She is happy and hopes to see her brother again and meet her father. Furthermore, she couldn't imagine what her father looked like because she hadn't known her father since she was little.

She's study college in Manila while working for the family that sent her to college.

Until she got pregnant and the family that helped her kicked her out.
She lived with the man who impregnated her.

She wanted to look her brother because she is worried, and she wants to see her brother again.
She also wanted to find her father to ask for help. Because they have no place to live with the man who impregnated her, and they are having a hard time finding a place to stay.

They rent a little room in the poorest area in Manila.
She contacted her auntie and grandmother asking for help. But they don't have money for plane tickets. They don't have money to sent to help her. Her auntie give her a contact to her uncle Jimmy.
Then she contacted her uncle Jimmy. Uncle Jimmy contacted her dad Samuel and Samuel tell to his wife Hermenihilda about his daughter Vanessa. Analissa tell the news to Melissa. Melissa are so happy to hear that their sister Vanessa are in Manila, and they are close to meet their sister Vanessa. Because their older brother Ryan kept telling stories about their sister Vanessa when they were little when their older brother Ryan was still alive and spending time with them, even for a short time.

Vanessa goes to her uncle Jimmy's house and meets her father for the first time! She hugs her father and cries for greatness and happiness. For the first time! She feels she has a father.
She asked her father if he and Ryan had met. If Ryan met their father.
Their father answered yes, Ryan live with him. She looks for Ryan, but she couldn't find him.

She also meet her new siblings Analissa, Balong, Marisol, and Onyok and her nephew Cristine.
They bond and talked and Analissa also introduced their sister Melissa, "she is not here because she is working, but she is nice and kind, and she is the only person who works here".

Vanessa ask where is their brother Ryan.
Analissa tells that their brother Ryan is dead.
The happiness of Vanessa faded in a short time and replaced into sadness.

Vanessa cries and asks where their brother Ryan is.
Her sisters took her to the location of Ryan's grave.
Vanessa, Melissa, Analissa, Marisol, Balong, Onyok and her stepmother Hermenihilda and her dad Samuel and her cousins Marie and Celine and her auntie Myrna her uncle Jimmy's wife visit Ryan.

They cries all Ryan sisters cries and cousins Marie and Celine they all cries. Her sister Melissa cries are so loud and her cousin Marie cries are so loud.
Her sister Melissa hugging their brother Ryan clothes and shouting Kuya and her cousins Marie cries and shouting Kuya!
Vanessa cries and cries and cries, she cried even in the tricycle on the way to their brother Ryan's grave. She cries and cries after visiting their brother Ryan's grave.

Then she stays with her uncle Jimmy's house. Her uncle Jimmy give her a room for her and for her child.
She can't stay with her dad house because it's too little and no space for her and for her child. So her uncle Jimmy offer her a room to stay.

Years past, her grandmother died.
She and her dad went to province to see her grandmother for the last time before her aunt going to bury her grandmother.
She asked her father to come with her to the province to see her grandmother and his father to see his mother.
But they don't have enough money to pay for the plane tickets.

They called her little sister Melissa for help with plane tickets. But her sister Melissa's money was budgeted. So her sister Melissa gives them money for a one way ticket.

Vanessa is staying in the province for a few days, and her father wants to stay in the province for a while to have time with his sister.

Her father stayed in the province for a few months.
And her little sister Melissa went to the province to bring their father back to Manila.

Months past, her father staying with her because her stepmother Hermenihilda doesn't want her father back. Her uncle Jimmy allowed her to build a own little house next to her uncle Jimmy's house.
Her father and her brother Balong help together to build her little house. Until her little house finished, and her father are staying with her. She's happy that her father is staying with her. They drank together, she feed her father when her father doesn't want to eat and just wanted beer.

Until the guy who impregnated her before the father of her child came back and wanted them back. She accepted the guy again the father of her child. They live together with her father Samuel.
She got pregnant again and her father Samuel help her watching her children.

One day, she decided to work abroad. Because uncle Jimmy can no longer help them because uncle Jimmy got sick and stopped working and stayed at his house with his family.

She work abroad.
Her children stay with their father and her dad back to her stepmother Hermenihilda.

Her stepmother Hermenihilda put her dad in the back of the house. The room in the back of the house of her stepmother Hermenihilda with no food, no ventilation, no electric fan, no windows.

After a few months, her father died. A few months after, she left to work abroad.

She can't go back to see her dad because she's just new in her job abroad, and she doesn't have money yet to come back.
