Putting the diary down, Aimsey started on their journey to L'manberg. She decided it was best to start there and then go to the mansion because it's very unlikely that anything would be there to find becuase it literally got blown up. Most of the country was probably lost in the explosion.
On the way there, Aimsey thought about how little she actually knew about L'manberg. They don't even know why it was blown up.
Now, standing in front of the giant crater, with a weird grid pattern above it, Aimsey realised how miserable this place is. Maybe it was once beautiful, but all that was nice about this "country" has been wiped out of existence. Along with all its history. And, all of the answers Aimsey needs.
Maybe there is something in the crater that survived the explosion.
Placing a water bucket at the top, Aimsey slowly made their way down to the bottom of the hole.
She started digging through all of the rubble and debris in search of something, anything, that might help her.
Eventually, a glint of something shiny, most likely a reflection, caught Aimsey's eye. Dusting it off, Aimsey found that she was holding a framed picture. The glass was cracked and the picture was torn but it was still readable.
It was a photo of a bunch of people in a line, all wearing what seemed to be a uniform of some kind. Underneath every photo was a name, written in with a marker. Tracing her finger over every person, Aimsey read their names out loud.
"Tubbo, Fundy, Tommy, Wilbur, Niki, Jack." Aimsey put the photo in their backpack. Maybe she will ask Tubbo about it later, if he ever actually lets them have a normal conversation for once.
After a few more minutes of digging through the rubble, it was time to head back to the mansion. The sun was setting and soon the monsters would be out.
Making the trek home was difficult. It was night so monsters were everywhere. Aimsey was constantly having to dodge arrows and avoid spiders. It got worse the closer they got to Snowchester. With the proper clothes on, walking through the snow is difficult during the day. Adding monsters to that, it's nearly impossible.
Regardless of the struggle, Aimsey made it back home safely.
"House Wife! I'm home!!" Aimsey said in a sing song voice as she stepped through the front door. "Did you miss me?" Knowing they would not get a reply, Aimsey just sighed.
Instead of going to their room for the night, Aimsey thought now would be a wonderful time for an official look around of the house. It's been long over due. The majority of the mansion has not yet been explored.
Aimsey spent the rest of the night checking in each room, each hallway, each chest. She looked everywhere. After getting lost way too many times, she decided to mark off each entrance with a peice of wool. This way they would know which rooms have already been explored and which haven't.
Eventually, long after sunrise, Aimsey came across a room she's never seen before. She didn't even know it existed. The door was jammed however. Like something on the other side was stopping it from opening properly.
Clearly, if the door was jammed, something must be in there. Something important. Right?
After trying to get the door open a few more times, Aimsey decided to dig around the door to get into the room. She had the resources to fix it so why not.
On the other side of the wall, Aimsey is met with a bedroom. It's much fancier than all the other rooms. This must be one of the only actually furnished rooms in the house. Aside from that one room with the statue named Michael.
