Evan couldn't take it anymore, they were all just wanting ways that confined him. Sure, he liked women-though, after many years of heart break he found both men AND women to be something to be avoided when it comes to love. Taking care of needs he can do himself, so where is the need for those that will only drag him down?
This time though, he couldn't stand the gripping feeling of them trying to tie him down. Many times he's been told to shut his mouth, not to speak all due to facts of ether his opinion is not needed nor wanted, or, he was just being 'sassy'. Sorry if it comes out yelling or growly, but they should understand that one a Werewolf/Lycan is upset for many reasons, they start to snap.
He couldn't hold it in anymore or for much longer.
With his room being trashed by others right before his very eyes, he list it. They didn't have the right to do that just to get him to listen or get their point across.
Which is why he ran, leaving all behind.
Clothes soaked to the bone and cold beyond belief, as for one who can stand the cold, he is shivering in his bare feet that for slightly scratched but thankfully not bleeding too bad. Dirty, but not much to get an infection with due to the wet ground and grass.
Evan didn't know for how long he ran, hours? Possibly, hopefully not far off places that will be hard to get back to-besides, he's been running in a daze of thoughts and cloudy, tear filled eyes.
With teeth chattering, his eyes catch a warm light out of his side vision, making him turn said source. A mansion? Out here? Perhaps he HAS wen too far because he hasn't heard of a mansion like this becomes the town-then again, this one IS bigger. But still, it brings a sense of wonder and curiosity and slight worry. He knows about the anger one can get from knowing another is on their land-is he? This though has wanting to double back.
But the light, it's so warm and inviting for a dark and cold place. So slowly, Evan walks to this mansion, ready to run in case a mad owner comes out guns and all. Honestly, he does know the feeling they will have, humans have been trespassing his family's land and disrespecting it for long. It had him ready to fight, his territorial instincts kicking in.
Once by the steps to the porch, Evan breaths in deeply hoping to find a scent even though he knew if was hopeless, due to a sickness in his past, he lost major senses. Part of why he was looked down at, even not his fault but, those there will be them.
Looking around more, he hopes to rest even for a night. Evan steps up to the door now to hult, uncertain. Should he do this? Should he not?
A gust of cold wind answers for him, sending him the knock rapidly. To his amazement and shock, the door unlocks then opens for him. This doesn't have him to stop again, he rushed inside and closes the door behind him-a little too hard. With this, the Lycan openly apologizes for such a thing, he doesn't want to seem rude in someone's home. Turning to greed the person who let him inside, his confused gaze meets nothing.
Looking around more, he is at first started by the voice, "Of all the beings to enter my home, you show up."
Arching a brow, Evan looks around confused, "I'm sorry?" Before quickly changing his words with a shake of his head, "I mean, I'm sorry, I should have asked for permission for enter your home, I was...very cold out there for a while so when the door opened I didn't think."
"Clearly," the other states as footsteps can be heard by the large staircase, making Evan look up to them to see a dark shadow of a man. The male continues, "I haven't had any guests for so long, yet here comes you in here, wetting my floor with your smell,"
Evan of course is confused, smelling his wrist secretly-or at least he hopes. He did have a slight smell, only due to the running he presumes.
"I'm sorry, it must be due to my running outside, it is storming after all,"
"I know that...but yours is different," the voice muses, which in Evan's opinion sounds dark, tantalizing but also erotic in a way.
No, don't think those things.
Swallowing hard, the Lycan asks the dark show of a man who is now somehow five feet in front of him making him jerk back, before taking in a breath to get him words out, "May I..spend the night sir? Just one night I swear then I'll be gone."
A weird chuckle of humor is heard before the other answers, "You ask for a right to stay here?"
Evan goes to answer with a nod a confirming yes, but the stranger beats him to it, saying, "Mutt!" With a slight sneer.
Jolting back now, Evan stares up at the confused, no really good light in this entry way can help form a visible light to show the man's face, but Evan is still looking. For that and an answer.
"Why did you called me that?" He asks even with his sickening worry of being caught to what he is. But how does the other know?
"I can smell your kinda scent-though yours is...slightly different," the male tells him, "Are you perhaps a half breed by any chance?"
"N-no?" Evan answers, teether chattering a bit.
At this the other huffs, but looks to think.
After a moment, motions to the stairs, I have plenty of rooms available then, choose wisly."
At a short loss for words, Evan only nods, looking around the place, "I don't want to rind up in a not to go to place so...please show me these rooms?"
The stranger looks him up and down a moment, but nods.
"Very well, follow me."
