Blood pushing through her veins.
The excitement.
She smirked to herself.
"Young, he's coming your way!" Stevenson shouted through the comms. This was it.
Her 200th case was about to be finished.
Footsteps approached fast.
In a blink of an eye, she hit the back of the gun on his head. Took her foot and kicked him down the rest of the way. In one swift move she holstered her gun and handcuffed him. She jerked him up, another sleezebag put away.He starting laughing, she stopped him and pushed him to his knees. He was took back by this little woman's force, she push her heal in between his legs and leaned forward. Inching closer to smashing his goods, "I wouldn't be laughing for where you're going straight too, you are nothing but the scum off of my shoe." She gritted her teeth, and smirked as his eyes filled with fear as the shoe pressed more. "Please know that no media coverage is happening for you. No one will know what you did to all those helpless girls. You are so helpless now, how does it feel?"
Silence."HOW DOES IT FEEL?" She asked again now fully pushing her foot against his goods. He cried out in agony, it was enough for her to jerk him up and walk him outside to a few whistles. She shoved him inside of the SUV.
As the team was celebrating, she felt a vibration in her back pocket. She pulled out her phone, quieting her team in one motion. "Yeah boss?" She says into the phone, "Young, congratulations on your 200th case, but we have another case. Bring the team in. I'll see you soon." With that he hung up, she groans and turns to her team.
"No drinks guys, it's time for another case." She hops in the SUV, along with the others and heads to headquarters. They walk in carrying the prisoner to lock up, then her eyes come across him. She loathed him, they had a past that only the bosses knew about. Everyone else just thought it was a feud.
She rolled her eyes as he smirked at her, she loaded her team onto the elevator. They walked out to the conference room, awaiting debriefing. Then she heard him laughing, "Why is he here?" She asks herself before her attention is snapped up. "Young and Anderson, my office," Brad says into the open room. She sulks and walks in, sitting down, while he chooses the chair furthest away from her.
"Well I guess you're wondering, why it's just you two. We have a mission for you both, with Andersons computer skills, and Youngs combat skills and wittiness, you two are the perfect ones for this job." Brad says sliding me a file, and Cooley sliding Anderson his.
Silence.
"Wait a minute, husband and wife?" Young asks, breaking the silence. "Yeah what she said..sirs" Anderson also speaks up. "Yes husband and wife. You two will be going to Brazil, pretending to be husband and wife to get close to the Cooper family, the biggest known mafia family in the world. You, Anderson, will be the lawyer that helps Kasnova free his brother from his charges to gain his trust. You, Young will get close to the wife, gain her trust. Inbed yourselves with this family, and when it's time you will be taking them down. It will take up to six months, so get your game face and acting skills up. Because they will for sure have the house bugged. You have three days to get to know each other. So I'd use the time wisely." Cooley finishes, they both sigh knowing it was useless to argue.
They shake each boss hands and excuse themselves, Young talks to her team and so does Anderson. Leaving them behind as she walks to the locker room. As she was finishing packing up her locker, she hears someone clear their throat. So she turns to see him leaning against the lockers.
"So we have to get to know each other, even though how much I hate this. A job is a job, so let's just get this part over with. Meet me at the coffee shop around the corner." He says before she can object, he leaves her in the locker room. She slams her locker and grabs her bag and goes downstairs. She says goodbye to everyone, reaching her car, her phone buzzes.
"Make sure you pack clothes that are suitable to Brazil weather and wife clothes."
"Yes boss, will do."
She groans tossing her phone in the passenger, and leaves the parking garage. She pulls up to the coffee shop, and sits down at an empty two person table. She waits and waits.
Twenty minutes pass, she gets up in a huff and pays for her coffee. She gets in her car and she opens her phone, and rings him up.
Voicemail.
She sighs, "leave a voice message after the beep, beep*"
"What a dick move Anderson" with that she hangs up.
She leaves the coffee shop, and gets home. She packs her bags and feels her phone beep.
"Sorry not sorry. About time I did something to you. Hope you don't sleep wife."
She grunts and throws her hands up in the air, wishing it was already six months later.
How was this case going to go? Will it be good for her? Or will it be a disaster?
You will find out soon. Because Brazil here they come.
