The Truth To Be Told

THE MODEL NEXT DOOR

I got up and went to look for a new home. I have never lived by myself before, so this would be a major change in my life. I spent all day looking at apartments, until I finally found the one that was right for me. I sat down on the bed and thought about my siblings. What are they doing right now? I miss them. Just as I was dozing off in the comfiest bed I had ever been in, I heard a knock on my door. I was a bit nervous to answer, but I got up and peeked through the peek hole. I suspected no harm so I opened the door. A tall, handsome, blonde haired twenty year old was now standing in front of me. "Hello, can I help you?" I said kind of questioning him. He didn't say anything and kinda just.. stared at me. "Woah, I'm so sorry. You are just so beautiful. My name is Jake by the way. I'm your neighbor on the left, I just came by to say hello." He responded with a very nervous look on his face. "Thank you Jake. It's very nice to meet you. My name is Shayla, and I just moved to New York." I quietly said, realizing I was blushing pretty hard.

The night flew by and I awoke to another knock on my door. I opened the door and again stood the same man as yesterday. Even though this time he had donuts. "Since your new here, I'm guessing you don't know your way around yet. So I thought we could get to know each other better." Jake said with a huge smile on his face.
We talked and talked for over an hour. He was a polite and a handsome man. He was also only a couple years older than me!!  At the end of our conversation Jake had said something pretty interesting to me. "You know Shayla, your such a beautiful girl. You should really consider modeling." He shared to me. Jake is also a model, I guess that makes sense since he is so gorgeous. Jake left and I really did consider his offer. He said he would take me to work sometime, so I could give it a try.

As the days went on, I took the offer and went to Jakes work. I guess they really loved me there, because they asked me if I wanted a full time job. I took the job and Jake and I got very close. We got in a relationship and spent time in work, and outside of work together. As my career got bigger, I soon went on talk shows and had interviews. One interview I had was with Jake, and it was a huge hit. The interview got over 100 million views, and I was now a known model all over the world. "So Shayla, How did you start your modeling career?" The interviewer asked me. And that answer was most definitely the easiest question...
