Blinded Affection

Aila's POV, a Normal day in her life.

In any normal day, I woke up to the sounds of people gathering around the village, decorating because we were holding an event for one of the Noble's Birthday! I got up and took a bath, dried my hair and got dressed! I went out and helped put up the decorations, I was feeling so energetic and happy, feeling amazing and excited for the event.

As I was on my way to my academy sword training, I came across a pack of cats. They were hungry, thirsty and wounded. I felt guilty for whatever happened to them so I bought a basket from a store, I put the pack of cats inside the basket and gave them to a vet. I said to the vet that I would come back later to pick them up and personally nurse them at my home.

I went to the market to buy some stuff because I was too early for the sword training, so I bought some fruits and edible stuff for cats. I bought water, milk, and juice. So I could keep me, my brother and the cats full and happy!, I got all the stuff I needed and organized them in my home. I went back to the vet and picked up the cats, I dropped them home and asked for my brothers help in taming them.

I was explaining to my brother. "Uhhh- Well- So you see-" I sighed "When I was on my way to the academy I came across this pack of kittens..How would I dare to leave them behind?!.." I dramatically sobbed and tried to make my brother pity the kittens. But as stubborn as my brother is, he didn't budge. He said that he didn't want any cats inside our home.

I felt so angry and sad. I wanted to keep the cats because they looked cute. So I secretly went and built a tiny house for them. I kept the cats inside there and gave them some food. I washed my hands and brushed my hair, I changed my outfit and got ready to head to the sword training academy. I went on my way to head to the sword training academy and was ready and prepared.

I walked with elegance as I zoned out, I went inside of the academy my hands slightly trembling. I went through the corridor and someone stopped my tracks, I bowed down and apologized, "Im sorry for bumping into you!!" I nervously said with a shaky voice. I looked up and my dark blue eyes met with light green ones. Her hair was dark brunette and she was outstanding.
