nightmares and natasha

 kates pov

i am woken up to yn shaking and sweating. i can tell they are having a nightmare so i try to shake them awake gently. they jolt awake and move away from me. i sit up

"hey your safe its just me its kate, baby listen to me im not going to hurt you no one is here other than me just please trust me," i say as calm as possible, yn looks at me with glassy eyes and i move over to them slowly with my hands up next to me showing yn i wont hurt them they lean into me and i hug them and rub their back trying to calm them down, they finally stop shaking after about 10 minutes but are still crying silently. they pull away from me and look at me with a sad expresssion on their face silent tears still falling from their eyes.

"im sorry," yn says lying back down next to me with a small gap between us but i wont push them because they still seem a bit shaken.

"baby you have nothing to be sorry about, are you okay?" i ask yn trying to calm them.

"im fine, can we cuddle please," yn says with a cute but sad voice.

"of course, come here," i say and yn closes the gap between us and i wrap my arms around them. it takes yn a while to fall asleep but i fiddle with the loose strands of hair by their ears to calm them and even though im really tired i stay awake until i know they are sound asleep and their breathing is back to normal. i see that yn is calm and asleep so i decide it will be okay if i go back to sleep holding yn as close to me as possible and fall asleep almost instantly because ive been up for at least an hour making sure yn was okay.

yns pov

i wake up in kates arms and remember what happened, Kate is still asleep so i stay in her arms and wait until she wakes up because she must have been up for ages last night. when kate wakes up i give her a big kiss before she can say anything. a smile grows on her face and she gives me another kiss.

"good morning baby," I say as i sit up next to kate, she sits up aswell.

"good morning, did you get back to sleep okay?" kate asks me concered because of my nightmare.

"yeah it was allot easier because you helped me allot i usually don't get any sleep most nights.i usually get them every night but when i was with you i felt safe," i say to kate whos head is on my shoulder.

"well thank you for telling me and im glad you got enough sleep," kate replys and gives me a kiss. "how about we get up and ill take you to breakfast and then we can visit Nat, does that sound good," kate suggests.

"yeah but kisses and cuddles first." i suggest because i don't want to get out of bed just yet and i want to stay in kates arms.

"your such a softie but of course were having kisses and cuddles first," kate says with a little giggle and then gives me a kiss.

me and kate stay in bed cuddling for about half an hour and giving each other as many kisses as possible. we both decide to get up and get ready to go out for breakfast.

"you wear so many rings," i hear kate say as i put on my rings, she comes over to me and gives me a hug from behind.

"do you not like them?" i ask kate.

"no, i think there really hot, my darling," kate whispers in my ear with a raspy voice. i look up into the mirror and see kate with a smirk on their face i smile and spin around so im facing kate who is now looking up at me. i give her a kiss and we then put on our coats and head out to get some breakfast, we walk along the street hand in hand until we get to this cafe. we head inside and sit at a cute table by the window.
