That day, everything was same
The land was brown and the sky was blue
But then nature played it's game
Something happened of which no one had a clue
Suddenly all those colours got mixed with red
And the lively country of Nepal transformed into a death bed
Buidings collapsed, roads cracked
Within a minute everything came down
Everyone lost, dead bodies stacked
Only thing left was a frown
People were screaming and the land was still shaking
Someplace somewhere a life died which was still in making
A child looking for his mother
A father searching for his daughter
A girl finding her brother
Only thing they came across was the unkind slaughter
Tears rolled down, hopes were shattered
Nothing to them now really mattered
So many innocent kids died
They died in the manner, possibly most gross
Mothers and fathers could do nothing, they only cried
To their familes, it was such a huge loss
Yesterday they were moving happily in their cars
Today they are walking along with the left scars
We are sitting here, watching our neighbours in pain
It's sad to see them go through this terrible slay
Let us do something that doesn't include our personal gain
Let us help them in all possible way
We must fight together this calamity
And restore the lost faith in humanity
