Welcome to my birthday one-shot for Harry Potter! This story is a type of insert that I could create a story around if enough people like it!

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or anything of that nature. I am simply an adoring fan.

Without further ado, let's get into the one-shot!

"You will be sharing a room with Ron as there are no other rooms available to you," Molly Weasley told Harry as she ushered him up the stairs of number twelve Grimmauld Place. Harry simply followed her command as he watched the older woman go back into the kitchen.

Harry sighed as he continued making his way up the old creaky stairs that were being renovated. The house was slowly being fixed up as Molly thought it was far too dark and gloomy for her children to be living in. Although Harry couldn't help but to wonder who invited the whole family to live there in the first place. Shaking his head, Harry changed his focus onto making sure he didn't touch any of the strange trinkets that Molly had brought from her personal vault at Gringotts. The trinkets felt weird to Harry and made him uneasy.

He stopped at eighty inch drapes that were a rich and vibrant green with silver drawstrings to pull them open. "You must be Sirius's mum. If those gorgeous drapes are anything to go by." Harry murmured softly to himself as he reached over and pulled the drapes open. Upon seeing the dark haired woman, Harry knew that he was correct in his assumption. Lady Black sat elegantly upon a silver and green throne with a scowl on her face. It seemed as if she was very unhappy with the current state of her house and the residents that were felt inside said house.

"It is a pleasure to meet the great Lady Walburga Black. My name is Heir Hadrian Orion Potter-Black." Harry gave a simple greeting as he bowed politely to the portrait.

Walburga seemed silently stunned before she responded to his introduction. "You are such a gentleman. No one has shown me such kindness since those blood-traitors and mudblood have come into my home. They all keep my curtains closed and seem to ignore any authority my son and I have. It is a delight to know that the heir of us Blacks knows his manners. Thank you for opening my drapes and allowing me to view the state of everything."

Slight anger passed through Harry as he listened to his grandmother exclaim how rudely she is being treated by guests that were so obviously not invited by Sirius into the house. "They have no right to treat you with such disrespect. Especially since they are the guests in this house. I apologize on their behalf. Their insolence will be corrected immediately. May I ask if there is a house elf that I can talk to in this house of great knowledge and power? I would like to set a few rules for him to follow regarding our guests here."

"We do indeed have a house elf, Heir Hadrian. There are actually a couple of them around the property. You see dear, our property of Grimmauld is actually bigger than anyone outside of the family can see. I would say it is just as big as the Malfoy Estate. The elves you are looking for go by the names Kreacher, Elaina, Acreus, and iris. They should come at your call as you are the only heir."

A slight grin forms on Harry's face at the new knowledge he was just given by his grandmother. "Thank you Lady Black. However, I have one more question before I go. Would you happen to know of a room that would be fitting for me so that I may have peace and privacy away from those traitors and the mudblood?"

Walburga smiled at her grandson. "There is a room right next to Sirius's. It has always been the heir's room but we haven't had an heir since Sirius has come of age. The room should change to fit your style and status when you come upon it."

Harry thanked Walburga and went on his way to Sirius's room as the drapes for his grandmother's portrait began to close. Before he got too far, Harry heard Walburga say something that brought a smile to his face.

"Oh and Hadrian? Happy seventeenth birthday dear. May your inheritance be as painless as possible."

Harry came upon a door that stood across the hall from Sirius's. It had a delicate golden engraving of his name upon a black nameplate that sat on the center of the door. Opening the bedroom door, Harry was greeted with a very elegantly designed room. There was a king sized bed with sheer forest green curtains around it against the back wall of the room. Upon the bed were black satin sheets with a silver and black comforter. The pillows were also black satin. Next to the bed sat a dark oak nightstand with a black lamp upon the top of it. Walking further into the room, Harry noticed that there was a walk-in closet as well as a personal bathroom. "I should get a shower in while I have the chance." Harry murmured softly as he stripped and made his way into the bathroom for a much deserved steamy shower.

Walking out of the bathroom twenty minutes later. Harry was now in black dress pants, a forest green collared shirt, a black suit jacket, black dragon leatherhide boots, and a silver tie to tie it all together. He made sure to straighten his shirt cuffs as Harry left his new bedroom.

Just outside of his bedroom door, was a portrait of Dorea Black that he hadn't noticed before. Harry quickly introduced himself and after a few minutes of chatter about the current guests, he asked where Sirius was. Dorea told him that Sirius was in his room. A pleasant thank you was said and goodbyes were exchanged before Harry headed into the room of his father.

"Father? Are you in here? Dorea said you were, but I would hate to disturb you if you were busy." Harry's call was met with a quiet shuffling of paper as Sirius walked out of the study that was across from the master bathroom.

"Hadrian I'm just finishing up some work in my study. Never am I too busy for my son. Was there something you needed?" Sirius smiled as he hugged his son.

"I just wanted to speak to you about our guests who are living here." A frown appeared on both faces as they thought of their unwanted guests.

"Yes well, I can't do much at the moment until after your birthday. That Molly Weasley is very pushy." Sirius pulled out a present as he spoke. "That doesn't mean I won't give you a present though."

A grin spread across Harry's face as he looked at Sirius. "You didn't have to get me anything father. You being cleared at the ministry and finally coming home free is the perfect present for me."

"You deserve something from your old man. Especially as your inheritance is finally coming"

Harry gave Sirius another hug before he began to open his present. Inside the box he was given, was two silver necklaces that each had half of a black heart upon them. The center of the heart was made of a green sapphire crystal that would shine when near the owner's soulmate. "Soulmate necklaces? But father, I haven't even come across my soulmate yet. What if they aren't ready for me? Won't my veela be upset and feel rejected?" Harry's concerns brought a sad yet understanding smile to Sirius's face.

"Hadrian, my magic wouldn't have allowed me to give you your necklaces if you weren't ready for your soulmate. Besides, I know for a fact that your soulmate is ready for you as they came to me to voice their own insecurities. As the dominant, it is your job to take away those. That is how I knew you both were ready. I love you Hadrian and so does your soulmate. Happy birthday son." Sirius pulled Harry into another hug as he soothed his son's worries. It was time for his precious heir to leave the nest.

Thank you to everyone who read my one-shot! Happy birthday Harry Potter and may you forever grow in our hearts!
