chapter fifteen, girl problems
"Have you had McGonagall's class yet?" Amber asked as she sidled up next to Bonnie, ignoring Cedric who rolled his eyes at her childish behavior.
"No. We've got it next." Bonnie answered. "Why? What's going on?"
Amber shrugged, a grinning slowly forming on her face. "Oh, you'll see." A glint in her eyes as she hurried away, leaving Bonnie calling after her.
"What does that mean? Amber! You're being confusing! Stop it." She demanded to Amber's retreating back, causing her to groan, turning to face Cedric. "I swear, if I wanted strange riddles and unanswered questions, I'd be in Ravenclaw." She huffed. "Which I don't frankly understand. We have classes all day. Why'd you want to answer another question? I just want my bed, thank you very much."
Cedric shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know."
Bonnie blinked. "So handsome and not a single thought behind those eyes." She reached up, ruffling his hair making him look like a puppy from his saddened expression. "So adorable though."
"I personally wait until someone comes and answers it for me," a voice stated, coming up behind them and she turned to see Cho, who's gaze was more so on Cedric than on Bonnie despite addressing her. Bonnie hid a smile, knowing the look on Cho's face. A girl in complete and total love.
She could relate.
Clicking her fingers though, Bonnie pointed at her. "That's smart. That's true Ravenclaw thinking. Work smarter, not harder."
Cho smiled at her softly, before adding, "Besides, most of the time it gives the same riddles over and over. If you memorize the answers it's pretty easy. However, one time it came up with a new one none of us had heard and we were so tired that nearly ten of us just slept there. That was the day most of us looked real tired."
Frowning, Bonnie replied. "I thought tired was just the natural Ravenclaw look. You know, from studying." She added. "I swear I've seen some of you down five cups of coffee in the morning."
Cho shook her head, a small smile on her face. "Well, coffee is a ravenclaw survival tactic." She joked. "Anyway, no one really will say anything about McGonagall's class other than there is big news. McGonagall, in her rather dramatic fashion, placed a charm so no one could talk about it openly until everyone knew. I mean, you can talk with other's who know, but it's so the secret is kept."
