finally, the rest of the cast were free to hang out. This was the first time that Matilda was going to met them. So it was understandable that she was feeling insanely nervous. 

on the other hand, she was slightly excited to meet the rest of the cast. Because she became such good friends with the others so quickly, it was probably going to be the same with them.  

let's just hope she doesn't have to carry a conversation.

brady and tristan decided that they should all go out for dinner together. The moment that Matilda heard about the plans, instantly started begging for it to be sushi.

they gave in.

once they arrived at the sushi train, Tilly could see everyone waiting outside for us.

 the nerves started to kick in.

"tilly!" rebecca shouted and ran over to her, engulfing her in a hug, "hey becca" Tilly smiled into her shoulder.

mason, miguel and maddy all gave her small hugs too.
now, she just has to introduce herself.

"hey guys, i'm tilly" She waved shyly at the 3 teens her age, "i'm brady" the blond boy with blue eyes smiled at her and waved. 
Considering she had only ever talked to him through the groupchat, he was extremely sweet to her.  

"i'm the other brady" a short, curly haired boy said to me, Tilly awkwardly shook his hand, along with the other boy who's name was jordan.

they're all nice.

that's good.

once they got inside, Matilda saw a large table with a big RESERVED sign on it.  
"who's sitting where?" She asked tristan, standing next to him, "just sit wherever, we didn't set seats or anything" he winked at her, over exaggerating it, causing Matilda to cringe. 
"what was that for?" She almost laughed at his gesture,
"oh nothing" tristan said, trying to sound mysterious.

Matilda ended up sitting on the side closest to the sushi train, next to mason and in front of tristan.
"i would love to make a toast" tristan stood up, clinking his glass of water with a chopstick.

"thankyou all for showing up tonight, it's great that we all finally decided to meet up, so let's cheers" he said in a fake posh accent, "you're such a dork" Matilda rolled her eyes, clinking her glass with everyone elses as she spoke. 

"so what are you gonna get?" mason whispered to her, looking over at her menu, "i'm just gonna get everything i see to be honest, i haven't had sushi since last week" Tilly replied at the same volume. 
"last week? i haven't had sushi in like two months" He exclaimed quietly, looking at her with wide eyes.
"well, lucky we're here then, we can stuff our faces" Matilda laughed quietly, paying attention to the plates of sushi going around on the conveyor belt.

about 15 plates of sushi, and many conversations made up of small talk later, Matilda was sitting there, felling sick from all of the food she ate.  
"you know, before tonight i've never even tried soba noodles" mason informed her, slumping back against the cushiony booth,
"you're crazy for that" Matilda shook her head, laughing quietly.
