May- 04 Flora's Birthday

I'm so excited it's my eighteenth birthday, I can't wait anymore. I won't be able to sleep tonight, I can't wait for tomorrow.

I think I should stop overthinking and just get enough sleep so I don't look like a witch.

Early morning at 5:45 I was awaken by my family surrounded around my bed wishing me I was so happy at the moment, when all of them went away I was on my bed trying my outfits through imagining them. I have great imagining skills. u'll find me in my imaginary world all the time, I'm a dreamy girl that's what people say.

I took a bath with my favorite shampoo and conditioner, it has a great smell, I love it. The shower was so refreshing. It was so perfect to start the day.

I wore my new dress which my mom gifted me for my birthday, a light blue colour dress with netted neckline and a statement wide bow at my waist with gently pleated skirt above the knees. I loved that dress.

I put my blue coloured rings hanging from the pearl stud, a gracious pearl necklace with a french twist into rope braid and black shiny heels.

Usually after dressing up I always stare at myself in the mirror for minutes. I really love myself, I thank God for giving me such a pretty face and a fit, awesome body.

Sometimes I feel like I'm a
beautiful princess. I'd love it if I could be one.

When I was satisfied with my look, I went to the hall, where my bro and dad were decorating the room and my mom was baking my birthday cake, cupcakes, sweets for the party held in the evening at my house. She's a great cook.

As it was my 18th birthday, the day I would become an adult, I would get my driving license, the right to vote and so much more. Today I felt like I'm completely grown.

I was so excited that I couldn't wait anymore, as soon as my father finished decorating, we went to the respected department of vehicles  and it took sometime like half-an-hour, but finally , the guy came to me and handed me my driving license I was screaming on top of my voice inside. Because u know its a legal place and I couldn't scream. I had my OWN driving license. It was like I had a very powerful key to the greatest door. It was so magical for me.

The first thing I did when I came home was I jumped into my car. It was 2015 Hyundai Azera model, which we bought recently. It was spacious and luxurious.

I drove it on the streets. It was such an amazing and smooth drive, I was enjoying it and I always wanted to drive a car on the streets and highways with no fear, although I knew driving, my mom taught me during my holidays but I had access only to my lane and a few closer to it.

I felt like a free bird today, I was already enjoying my day. I came home and parked the car.
