Accidents || James Sirius Potter

Chapter 3

Ella' POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off on the night stand next to me. Resistantly I turned it off and grabbed my school clothes and robs and headed it to the bathroom to have a shower.

After ten minutes I got out the shower; got changed and headed back into to bed rooms. I walked over to my bed side table to pick up my wand and used a hose drying spell to dry it, then grabbing my brush and brushing through my hair.

Suddenly I heard a voice speak up from the bed next to mine "morning Ellie"  It was Alice's. "Oh morning Alice how did you sleep" I said to her, still brushing my hair. "I slept well thanks" she said smiling.

After about 20 minutes I headed down to the common room with Alice to see if the boys were down there, obviously they weren't, so we headed to the great hall for breakfast. I wasn't going to let James and Fred make me miss breakfast.

We arrived and the hall and sat down on the Gryffindor table opposite each other. I started to pick some food and put it on my place, when I notice Alice staring at something (or someone 😏).

I looked over to what she was looking at and saw that Fred and James had just walked in. I turned my head back to her shocked, but calmed down quickly.

"So which one do you like?" I asked her taking a bite of my toast. " what who said I liked anyone" she laughed off "you did when you started staring at them" I chuckled quietly. "Is it Jame?" She shook her head "Fred its Fred" I partly shouted as she just blushed and looked down. I hear a voice suddenly from behind me making me jump slightly "that's my name why are you yelling it?" Uh oh i thought to my self it was Fred I mean who else would I be. "Because your here and I'm happy about it" I said playing it of calmly.

I felt to hands drop onto my shoulders. I looked up to meet the face of James Potter. "Where's my cheer of being here then. Not happy about seeing me?" He asked. "Nah you're not that special" I said with a smug look. He gasped dramatically putting a hurt look on his face and hitting my arm gently then sat down next to me and started grabbing some food.

As Fred was about to sit next to me as well, I saw Alice's face watch him and I had a brilliant idea pop into my head. "Fred go sit next to Alice she's lonely that side" I said not looking at him and eating some more of my toast " but I've just walked all this way down this side" he moaned "so" I simply said "but why can't James" he said. This made James's head pop up with food in his mouth. We all just looked at him "what's going on" he asked completely confused as put some more food in his mouth.

I turned back to Fred but he was still looking at James with a raised eyebrow. "Never mind I'll go and sit next to her" he said turning away and walking back up to table. I turned my head to to Alice with a proud smile on my face and winking at her. She gave a little giggle.

Fred had finally arrived down the other side of the table and plonked him self down next to Alice and gave her a smile. Smiled back quickly and looked back down at her food with a slight blush on her face. I giggle quietly to my self. "What's so funny" James said with food in his mouth. I rolled my eyes at him "what?" He asked.

I was sitting in position with James next to me ,waiting for Slughorn to arrive,we were talking about pranks that we could pull when we hear the door suddenly open.

"Okay children today we will be brewing the draught of the living dead" he said sternly. I felt James learn closer to me, "my dad taught me how to make this, we're going to nail it" he whispered in my ear sending slight tingles through body. I laughed quietly and so did he.

We grabbed the ingredients and the equipment we need and started brewing to potion. Eventually we finished and Slughorn came over to check it. "It's..." he started "it's perfect." James and I looked at each other and smiled. "You inherited you father's genes of potions I see Mr Potter well done." he said before looking at me. "I suppose you to miss Malfoy." I gave him a blank stare as he walked away.
