Marnie's POV

I woke up with my head in the crook of Gloria's neck, her hand tangled in my hair grazing my scalp. I immediately felt my face heat up as I realised that I had cuddled her all night long, her leg caressing my body. Not wanting to wake her I closed my eyes in an attempt to fall asleep again, but once I'm awake I'm awake. I must've just laid there for about five minutes before Gloria began to stir. She lifted her hand from my hair and began tracing her it along my face. I just froze in place, unable to move or say anything. Her hand was so soft and I couldn't help sinking into her touch. I heard a soft sound before two fingers were gently pushed against my lips.

She got up and quietly walked out of the room, I touched my face and as I had assumed it was warm. Gloria almost always wakes me up on our sleepovers, or whenever we sleep together. She's definitely mad at me. I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom, I look up and I see Gloria halfway through taking her shirt off. I try to grab the doorknob from behind me but I end up knocking something over, Gloria immediately tilts her head towards me. Her entire top half was showing and she was acting as if it was no big deal. Her stomach was so toned I just wish I could run my fingers over it. "Marnie if you wanted to come in you could've knocked first" Her gaze was firm, but not angry god why was it so hot."I uh, am sorry bout that Gloria I'll knock next....time"  She turned back around to face the mirror and started doing something to her face, as much as I wanted to stay I turned around and left.  

I went to to the kitchen to get some breakfast and calm down, I open the fridge to see... nothing. 'Yeah kinda forgot about us just moving in an' all, maybe I'll get some stuff from Wedgehurst. I can stop by Sonia's lab to ask what Glorias favourite foods are'  So it was decided, I would go to Wedgehurst and get some nice snacks and stuff for Gloria and maybe some advice from Sonia.  "Oi, Gloria I'm going out for a bit to get groceries do ya want anything"  No reply, dang Gloria's never this mad, she's usually coming up with flirtatious yet snarky replies, I have definitely fucked up. I put on a shirt some torn leggings and left the house.

Walking through the streets of Spikemuth is one of my favourite things to do in my free time. Being with my townsfolk and breathing in the distinctive petrol infused air is something that keeps that focus and attentiveness I always find in myself on these walks. It's easy to keep focus or just go through the motions of certain mundane tasks, the bustling streets with all the yelling and music has been something that gives me comfort on days when I need it most. I find my way out of the enclosed streets of Spikemuth and called a flying taxi. The Corvikight arrived carrying the taxi in a hurried manner as if not used to it's job. I don't wanna burden this Pokemon with too much weight on its first shift, I took morpeko out of his pokeball and gave him some stuff to take back to the apartment one of which was a note to Gloria explaining why morpeko was bringing my stuff back.

I sent him off and got in, the flight towards Wedgehurst was bumpy but enjoyable. The wild area and places like the Glimwood tangle looked so nostalgic, I don't think I've visited those areas since the gym challenge. Bede is probably pissed that I never visited but if I went he would pretend he didn't want me there, Bede is such a tsundere, but I'm not one to talk about that as 'apparently' I'm one myself. I mean I love Gloria with all my heart but I've never actually considered telling her or dropping hints until a few months ago. I let my thoughts float around for a bit before realising we had already landed. I couldn't help but feel bad for the corviknight it seemed like it was struggling with its job. I didn't ask it to take me all the way since I could get the train from Motostoke to Wedgehurst. I checked the time on my rotom phone it was about 9:48 so I had enough time to get some breakfast at the station before making in back to my platform. I should probably call Sonia's lab to see if she's there, the phone rings about five or six times before Hop picks up.
