It was another normal day at the Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria.

Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie were on stage performing some songs for the birthday boy. Foxy smiled as he watched his friends sing and dance, especially Freddy. Foxy truly appreciated Freddy's passionate singing, and as the song came to an end, Freddy glanced at Foxy's Cove, making eye contact with the red fox. Foxy's heart rate increased, but he managed to smile back at him; that sudden action from Freddy made him blush a bit. Foxy retreated into his Cove trying to calm himself down.

Freddy looked away from the Cove and watched the sea for children laughing, talking, and cheering on the band. Freddy smiled as Bonnie and Chica loved the praise of the children. Freddy then cleared his throat, making sure he got the kids attention. "Hey, all you pirate fans! Head on down to Pirate Cove, because the show is about to start! It's our good old pal Foxy!"

Foxy was about to leave when he heard what he believed to be a voice in his head say,

"They'll never accept you."

Foxy looked at the ground and paused at their words. "That's not true. They love me." He answered.

"...Foxy?"

Freddy had yelled in excitement, but it turned into confusion when Foxy didn't show himself. 'What's he doing? I just saw him a few seconds ago.' Freddy thought. He blinked and started to sweat as the children wondered where Foxy was, staring at him for answers. Freddy didn't know what to do. Chica suddenly elbowed him and whispered, "Improvise." Freddy hesitantly nodded before smiling again. "I know he's around here somewhere."

"Always alone."

Foxy turned around in terror as the voice whispered in his ears, causing him to start whimpering and cover his ears in shame. "No, stop it!" He cried out, shutting his eye tightly. "It's not true; I'm not alone! I have my friends..."

"M-maybe we need to call him out, Foxy!" Freddy called out, hoping Foxy wouldn't disappoint the kids, but he failed. He looked at Bonnie for help, but Bonnie just shrugged in concern for his friend, not too sure what to do or say either.

"Not one of them!"

"Help me out, kids!" Freddy said.

"Foxy!"

The kids called out, but Foxy was still nowhere to be found.

"Eat them..."

Foxy's growled as his eyes shot open, but it was lifeless, like he wasn't himself.

"Last time, kids, nice and loud so we can get him out here. Foxy!" Freddy said as he called out Foxy's name with Bonnie, Chica, and the kids.

Finally, the curtains opened, revealing the red pirate fox, smiling cheerfully. Freddy sighed in relief, then frowned at Foxy for taking so long, but Foxy gave no response to him or even looked his way. "Yar, mateys, this is me, Foxy, and welcome, welcome, welcome to the pirates' Cove! Freddy best be getting back to the stage or he'll be forced to walk the plank." Foxy smiled with a lifeless eye, looking at Freddy in a creepy, lifeless way.

This confused Freddy and the others because Freddy never left the stage. "Er..hahaha, have fun, kids, and let's kill-kill-kill them—keep ourselves safe while exploring Pirate Cove!" Foxy was extremely surprised to hear Freddy say something like that; he must be imagining things, but he couldn't move his body, even though it was moving on its own and without his permission.
