Alright people, I bet you have all sorts of questions on plot, lore, and functions of my different multiverses. This book it to give you all a bit of an explanation to it. While their may be some small difference between my multiverses they all function pretty much the same. Why you may be wondering. Well that's because they are part of what I refer to as an omniverse set. Here's the set up going from complex to simple.

*Omniverse set/sector - contains a series of multiverses.

*Multiverse - contains all alternate universes and timelines.

*Multiverse set - contains a series of connected Aus and timelines.

So for example a normal Undertale and a Dreamswap multiverse could be part of an Omniverse set, as a simple explanation. Though mine is alot more larger and complex. I have thought up with many stories and Aus in my time before writing. I consider all of them part of my omniverse. I just picked only three to write to begin with. It is unlikely I will ever be able to write all of them considering just how many I thought of. But back to my explanation.

What a multiverse contains is pretty straight forward so I won't explain that. Its when I get into multiverse sets that it gets a little bit complicated. While their will always be one prime Undertale universe, there are still copies, alternative timelines, and alternative universes of it. Alternative timelines are the different runs you can do in Undertale or when the timeline deviates from a normal course. Examples of this are Horrortale for the exiled queen ending for a run, or Killertale and Dusttale for  deviations. These are not considered Aus in my story unless they were created to be so in the first place, A.K.A. Ink creating them.

Alternative Universes is something different. While they are based off of the original, they are not just an altered copy. They are their own individual universe with similarities. Yes they are still connected to the original, but they are no longer the same. Due to the differences the monsters of the Au have their own unique souls when compared to their counterparts. Which means you can ship between them all you want, my fics are shipping approved. I'm fine with you all shipping alternative timelines too, but you probably won't be seeing that in my books. Alternative universes can have alternative timelines as well, for example Underswap has timelines like Horrorswap, Killerswap, and Dusttrust. I reference their existence in The Path We Walk.

Then we get into copies. They are pretty self-explanatory for the most part. What needs to be explained is that copies can have their own timelines and Aus connect to them instead of directly to prime Undertale. This would be a multiverse set. I like to think that this is where collision Aus, trap Aus, and other such instances happen without affecting the greater multiverse. I can only imagine the utter wreak the multiverse would become if it happened to the prime. Because, it is the general consensus that if something affected the prime universe it would effect the entire multiverse.

Now, onto the next topic. All my multiverses are part of a sort of "neighborhood" in the omniverse sector. They have their own respective deities, gods, and/or guardians to maintain them. At least the deities are aware of the other multiverses. Some of the normal inhabitants can also be aware such as Science Sans in For You, I Live. What I need you all to understand though is that they are not the one in charge. As I said, this is a neighborhood. That means that any deities that come there needed permission to settle down. Who they asked I will not say as that would be a spoiler. Just understand that they have to follow rules and conditions to do so. Example, the reference to the deity laws in Evolution of a Reincarnation. This is to help maintain a semblance of peace and fairness between them all. If they break these laws depending on the  circumstances and severity of the transgression, they will be punished accordingly. I'll get more into it in another chapter.

Lastly, since this is a neighborhood, it would make sense that the space for multiverses is limited. Which means that the space for universes are limited. That leads to the existence of Error in many of them. Whether an Fgod Error or not, depends on the multiverse and/or deities. As we all should know, not all Errors hate their jobs or do it unwillingly.

That should be it for this explanation. Check out the next chapter for more info.
