"What the hell!?" I said as my books were knocked out of my hands. I looked up to see who did it then that's when I saw him, James Davis my enemy since day one. I hated him, I hated him from the bottom of my heart. "What?" is all he said. That one word made my blood boil with anger. "What the hell do you mean what! You just knocked my books out of my hand!! Aren't you going to apologize!?" I yelled at him with anger within my voice."God you're annoying! Can't you just shut up already!?" James yelled back, matching my anger. I scoffed at him "All I'm trying to do is get you to apologize alright" My voice almost cracked with sadness trying to get him to finally apologize to me. "And why should I want to apologize to you? I have better things to do than that" his voice came off cold but colder the usual. "You know what never mind...don't need your apology anyways." I spoke with venom in my voice as I picked up my books and headed off to class.
(TIME SKIP)
"Yep, that's how my morning went" I sighed as I sat with my best friends Kia Parker and Leah Sanders. I explained this morning's encounter with James. "Maybe you just love him too much you think its hate" Leah said I looked at her with the 'What is wrong with you' kind of look. Then I could see Kai nodding in agreement. "You guys are weird and what even made you think that way?" "It's from what we observed from the looks of you too" Kai answered honestly and looked at James then looked back at me I rolled my eyes at him in annoyance.
Kai and Leah sat on each side of me as we continued to talk about random stuff then we eventually we started to talk about boys. When Kai started to talk about his relationship with Elijah Smith, one of the photographers in our school for sports and basically any clubs. Me and Leah were happy for him, he finally found someone for him to love. Then when Leah started talking about her huge crush on Henry Williams. I instantly rolled my eyes at the slightest chance that that jerk would date my best friend. I mean yeah, he seemed like a nice guy, but he was a total asshole to the girls in this school.
I mean I would be happy for her, but I just can't shake away the feeling of him hurting her. Even if I tell her about him she wouldn't believe me. She's one of those girls that wouldn't believe her best friend over a boy she's either dating or just has a crush on. Suddenly the conversation turned back to me and James.
"Guys I told you already that I have a boyfriend" then Leah and Kai both looked at each other then back at me. "Mhmm~ yeah that imaginary boyfriend you have" Leah teased "No I'm not talking about Eren Yeager from AOT I'm talking about Oliver Martinez" Kai and Leah looked at me with pure shock. "You're dating Oliver?!" They both yelled at the same time. "Umm yeah, why is that a bad thing?" Kai cleared his throat before speaking " I-Its not a bad thing its just that we didn't "t think he was your type." He looked away from piercing cold eyes "Not my type? Whats that suppose to mean?" Leah smacked Kai's shoulder "What he meant to say was that...umm we just didn't know that you two were dating" she laughed nervously.
"You're dating Oliver." Just by coldness of the voice I immediately know it was James "And you got a problem with that" I looked up at him coldly "No I'm just wondering why someone like him is dating someone like...you" He said in a rudely manner excuse me?" I stood up from my seat as Kai immediately grabbed my wrist when I did.
