On the way to the byers house, the party was informing Tk of what happened while he was in the hospital with Will. In return, Tk told them what happened at the hospital with Will and bob.
Once they got to the house Jim went to the phone to see if he could get back up and by the sound of it, it wasn't going well. The rest of them were sitting at the table.
" They didn't believe you, did they?" Dustin asked.
Hopper turned around to face them. " Well see."
" Well see? We can't just sit here while those things are loose!" Mike exclaimed.
" We stay here, and we wait for help," Hopper stated, leaving the room to go check on Joyce. The group just sat at the table quietly until Mike got up and walked over to a Side table and picked up one of the brain games that bob brought over the day prior.
" Did you guys know that Bob was the original founder of Hawkins av?" Mike said his back still turned against them.
" Really?" Tk asked. He still felt bad about what happened to bob. Sure he didn't really know Bob but he didn't deserve what happened to him. And finding out that he was the original founder of the av club isn't helping.
" He petitioned the school to start it and everything. Then he had a fundraiser for equipment. Mr. Clarke learned everything from him '' Mike told them walking back to the table. " Pretty awesome, right? '' the rest of them nodded their heads.
" We can't let him die in vain, '' Mike added.
" Well, what do you want to do mike? The chief is right on this. We can't stop those demo dogs on our own '' Dustin spoke up.
" demo-dogs?" Max said, giving him a weird look along with Tk.
" Demogorgon. Dogs. Demo-dogs. It's like a compound. It's like a play on words'' Dustin explained.
" Okay," Max said, cutting him off from his ramble.
Tk quickly took notice of his friend's upset look so he leaned over to Dustin from where he was sitting, which was in between Dustin and Lucas, and said. "I thought it was quite clever"
" Really?" Dustin whispered.
" oh yeah, I never would have thought of it" Tk replied.
" Thanks, Tk"
" No problem," Tk said before they both turned back to the situation at hand. When Tk sat back in his chair properly he felt eyes on him, he turned to see Lucas staring at him with a look he's never seen before. He wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing But before he could ask he turned back to face mike.
"I mean, when it was just dart, maybe" Dustin started.
" but there's a whole army now, '' Lucas finished.
