Elysian sat in her room. Celeste, the cat she had found, curled up beside her as she was reading the book. The book had mentions of dimension travel, from 'End to Aether', Alchemy, time travel, wizardry, and in the very middle of the whole book, a poem. The page was decorated with blue butterflies and swirly patterns. It was talking about some kinda of 'Prophecy'. She read it, but wasn't interested, What she was interested in, however, was the dimension and time travel information. She read every page mentioning such things until she pouted, unable to find more. Her mother called her for dinner, and she would rush back down to eat, the book still in her hands as she read at the dining table.
That night, she stayed up quite late, reading the pages she had skipped over. Eventually, she went to sleep. The next morning, she was woken up by a tapping on her window, it was Freya. Elysian let her in, the red haired girl gave her a hug.
"El! I'm sorry I've been so-", Freya cut off, spotting Celeste, laying on Elysian's pillow pile. She squealed with excitement.
"YOU GOT A KITTY?", she squirmed over to pet the small cat.
Elysian chuckled, following her, her face as red as fresh strawberries.
"Her name is Celeste. found her yesterday."
Freya gasped as she would suggest, "Can i make her a collar? Like, all glittery and purple? like her big eyes?"
Elysian nodded in excitement at the suggestion.
"Oh, yes! I'd love that Frey!"
Freya nods, she would quickly wave goodbye joyfully as she climbed down the window and rushed through the wood.
The next thing Elysian knew, her name was called downstairs.
