It was 3 months past Yn's birthday; she just turned 7 years old and Minho was 9. Life was amazing for them. They were wealthy.

Yn mum's company went bankrupt.

One day, her dad went out of the city, and mum, since she was well again. When she visited his workplace as a surprise. She found out something that changed their lives. YN's mum caught her husband cheating on her and he had drugs in his hand, while he was making out with the slut secretary, in his office.
Their dad didn't feel the slightest regret and filed for a divorce.
YN's mum was still processing what was happening and had a heart attack.
The doctor said that it was very unlikely she would survive as she had just gone out of a very tight recovery.
Later that night, she died.
YN and Leeknow lived the rest of their childhood with no parents. They still lived with their grandma until she passed away.
Fortunately, their grandma gave her house in Seoul and write it under Leeknow's name.
From that point to now, they lived in that house ever since.
Yeji's parents have been helping them out, but they seemed fine without their dad.
