I was walking with my small skateboard under my arm. I couldnt help but feel like this just had to be paradise. I giggled to myself. That was my themesong.
This must be just like living in paradise,and i dont wanna go home...
Yes, this was definetly paradise! I mean: im in freaking california! Just a few days i was stuck in a stupid little house in london,where the rain fell down more than i listened to music, and that was a lot.
Its not that i always planned on moving to cali, but i definetly was planning on moving away. Feom the weather and from the family. The day before i left my stepmother hit me. Saying i wasnt worth shit. I have to say i believed her for a long time, i still do, just not as much. But i did know i had to get out,so i booked a last minute planeticket and left. At home they are probably extremely happy not to have me around anymore.
Euther way. I am now standing on the boardwalk looking over the ocean. Icant believe i made it to this small,yet beautiful town. Huntington Beach.
On the waves were a couple of guys surfing,yet another thing i loved about this place. I wasnt too good,but i could surf. I had everytime we went to france. Without my parents knowing. Cause according to them that world was a bad one. The world i had to live in was one of flowers and pearls and books. Nothing more. Skatibg wasnt allowed so i was happy when a girl from school offered me hers to come here. I also went shopping befire coming here. Thank god i did. I really needed some change in my wardrobe.
When i took the paper out of my bag to see where the apartment was, i didnt really know where to go. So when i saw this guy skating by i ran up to him to ask.
"Hey!"
the biy stopped skating and turned around to look stunned.
"Wait you were talking to me?" he asked genuinly suprised.
I look at him sweetly. "Yes! Dont look so suprised,you have a cool board" i pointed at his skate. And he smiled in return.
"Anyway, i just got here and i have no clue on where to look for my apartment so i was wondering that...ehm...maybe you coupd help me?" i asked a little too fast, but still understandable. I wasnt a smooth talker when it came to the other gender. I was pretty awkward actually.
He chuckled."yeah,sure where you gotta go?" he asked pointing to the paper in my hands and i handed it to him.
He took it with a crooked smile and took a peek at the sheet. Then he looked me up and down and his smile grew bigger. Damn the guy has nice teeth.
"I can help you,all right. I live there too!"he screamed happily.
I laughed at his happiness,but found it quit adorable.
he made a sign to me to follow him so i did.
"So,Cali,huh?" he asked looking down on me.
"Hell yes!"i yelled."I needed to get away from my shit hole. And even though i havent seen it all i am so loving it here" i said again looking around.
He nodded,"ive been living here all my life and i still love it.seeing you,im pretty sure youll find a perfect home here."
I lookedup at him and thought about what he said. He was right. At least i think he was.
"So there it is" he said pointing at a gate.
I had chosen a apartment complex that was quit private, and dont get me wrong but with no old people. I love old people, but i am wrong and when i put my music on, the old ones dont appreciate. I walked with him trough the gate and looked up at the apartments. I got myself a penthouse in the red building, and by the looks of it i was gonna have enough space. Maybe even too much.
"Hey thanks for walking me, i appreciate it. My name is veronica by the way".
"Wow i didnt even know your name and i had the feeling i already knew you."he winked and i blushed "im kenny. I live over there"he pointed to the red building "third floor,along with my mates. Youre free to comeover whene"
We heard some people count down and we walked to the sound. As soon as i saw what was going on i covered my eyes. "OH MY GOD!"
There were two boys standing butt naked in the middle ofthe square getting a bucket of water over them, each. I heard kennylaugh and then the boys curse
"Damn man i thought you said the coast was clear."i heard one say.
Laughter."yes it was just put your pants on man,i think the girl her skin is burning"someone laughed.
"You can look now"
I took away my hand from my eyes slowly,just to make sure they had clothes on. When i saw they did i smiled at them.
One of them was smirking,the other one blushing standing there awkward.
"Well kenny it was nice meeting you,and ill take you on that offer."i said.
"Yeah, why dont you come.over for dinner tonight,i mean its your first day here and im pretty sure you dont feel like cooking at all."he said still a bit lauging about what just happened.
i thought about it and agreed to it
"Nice to meet some people who are crazier than me."i said to the two boys and giggled.when i oassed the one that was smirking earlier i whispered "you might wanna let it come to your attention that people here have balconies...and you need bigger hands" i winked and was satisfied when i heard him gasp. Thats when i walked away.
The boys really did look good in cali. Its not just the movies. Yes,i am sure. I can get used to this.

Wesley's POV.
Wow. Who was that girl. She was totally hot. No that was not the right word. I mean she was hot, but she was so much more.
'Dude,leave her alone. She just got here.'' Kenny said rolling his eyes.
I held my hands up and looked behind me to see the girl walking into the redbuilding.
"Wait...she lives in there?" I mean we all lived in the same building, that was awesome.
"Yes and i promised her she was always welcome to come over if she ever feels lonely."
Hey she seemed prettu cool i had no problem hanging out with her.
Though she was just new here and i had spent a lit of time with different girls in here, she seemed different. No girl ever spoke to me like that. EVER!
when we walked back to our apartment i saw the girl struggling with her bags on the stairs.
"Hey you guys go ahead ill see you later."i said and then rushed to her.

So that was the first chapter. I know im not too good but i still hope you will like it. I also just wanna say i am gonna use things that really happened to the boys and give a twist to it. (Like the naked ice bucket challenge i just used)
