THE BEGINNING

"Ariestotle? Oh my is it Ariestotle?" nagsisigaw na turan ni Mary-ann animo'y nakakita ito ng isang patay na nabuhay.
"Oh God, nakita namin Mary-ann!" nakangiting turan naman ni Alliah.
"What is he doing here?" mahina pero dinig naming turan ni Michael. Sa tuno ng boses nito parang hindi nito gusto ang makita ang pagmumukha ni Ariestotle.
"Who knows?" Imee said then flipped her short hair.
"Who is that guy by the way?" Ryan asked out of nowhere then the rest the group look at him. "What?" Ryan said.
"He is the campus cutie remember?" Nicole said then she look at Michael.
"Whats that look supposed to be mean?" Michael said while looking at Nicole.
"Nothing" Nicole said.
"Oh where is Aron by the way?" Napatanong na wika ni Imee dahil hindi niya makita ang kaibigan.
"I am here!" Aron shouted, malapit sa isang tindahan. All of them look at Aron.
"Did I just saw Ariestotle and Victor?" Aron said then he look at Michael.
"Yes, we saw him, Mary-ann shputed his name and whats with that look damn it, kanina pa yan!" Michael said.
"Nothing" Aron ignored what michael's prompting.
MICHAEL POINT OF VIEW-
We are at the resort right now, kasi banaman tong si Alliah nagyaya mag outing kai katatapos pa lang dawn g finals namin and we deserve to breath a fresh air. No'ng una ayaw ko pa because for me this is a waste of time, knowing na pagbalik namin sa Samar ay literal na labanan na naman.
"Whats wrong with your face micahel?" natatawang turan ni Ryan ng lumapit ito sa akin. I am currently lying down sa isang mini cottage malapit sa beah bali tabi nito ay mga nakahilirang higaan na may payong for sun bathing.
"Nothing I am just trying to kill my time" ani ko at tumingin sa katabi.
"That Ariestotle guy is cute no?" Ryan said then he grab a piece of gum from hisshort.
"I don't think so!" literally I don't find him cute because he is kind of annoying guy.
"He is also tall, morina medyo di kayo nagkaklayo ng height pero matangkad lang siya sayo" Ryan continue talking, and I don't feel like listening to his words of wisdom.
"He is annoying thou" I said in a low tune.
"Okay, how come that cute tall guy is annoying?" ryan said then he smile at me.
"Do you come here to annoy me or to pissed me off?" I said in a calm way.
Ryan just look at me the he shrugged his shoulder, afterwards he stand then look at me. "He is at the pool, do you want to come with me?" ryan said in annoyance.
"Oh God, Ryan leave me alone!" I said then grab my slipper but before I throw it to him, he run like a rabbit.
"Gosh!" I released a heavy sigh before closing my eyes.
It was a couple of minute when I feel peace then suddenly I feel someone is looking at me.
"Stop of what you are doing!" I said then I open my eyes, it is just a moment when I saw a face so fucking near at my face, ilang pulgada lang ang layo nito sa akin. Before I realized who the hell it is lumayo na ito sa akin.
"What the hell are you doing?" I said at Tiningnan siya ng matalim.
"opps, chill lang baka mamatay ako sa talim ng tingin mo sa akin" Ariestotle said then acting like nasasaktan siya sa tingin ko.
"What are you doing here?" mapakla kong Tanong sa kanya.
"Kailan bang sagutin ko yang Tanong mo? Ariestotle said then he shrugged his shoulder then he smile at me.
"Tsk, stupid" ani ko at tumayo mula sa pagkakahiga, at naglakad paalis sa cottage.
"Where are you going dude?" Ariestotle asked me nong hawakan niya ang braso ko. Tiningnan ko yong kamay niyang nakahawak sa braso ko. I look at him then I remove his hand then I smile at him.
" None of your business, DUDE!" I said then walang lingong iniwan siya mag-isa sa cottage.
"Tsk, sakit non ah" I heard he said but I ignore any of his word.
"hey Michael whats wrong with your face, para kang nakakain ng boung dalaanghita sa asim ng mukha mo!" Nakngiting turan ni Nicole habang ang mga nasa likod naman nito ay mukhang natatawa pa.
"Wala kagigising ko lang" wika ko naman at di na lang pinansin ang mga matatalim nilang mata.
"Is it Ariestotle?" dinig kong turan ni Imee. But I just ignore them at tuloy lang ako sa lakad. I am currently walking sa dalampasigan feel ko yong hampas ng alon sa dalampasigan at sa paa ko.
It was a moment when I saw a familiar face, he is sitting nearby and as if he is looking at the sun, is he waiting for someone else?
"Victor?" I call his name then he face at me, suddenly I feel my heart beating in his abnormal beats. I know this feeling because I like him, I like Victor but it is not easy as I think about it...
"Hey Michael want to watch the sunset together?" he said then pinalapit niya ako sa tabi niya. Walang masyadong tao sa lugar na kinauupoan namin at isa sa medyo di halatang may tao ay ang nato sa gilid na nakaharang, I just saw him kanina kasi nasa harapan niya ako. Ngumiti ako sa kanya bilang tugon at umopo sa kanya.
It was a quite moment when I feel awkwardness, syempre ako lang nakakaramdan non kasi di naman alam ni Victor na gusto ko siya.
Dahil medyo maulap ay tumayo si victor at naglakad lakad ito syempre sumonod naman ako sa kanya. Tanging hampas ng dalampasigan ang maririnig sa paligid at bigla siyang huminto at may pinulot sa buhanginan.
I am standing in front of him, he is looking at the sea while I am looking at him. I capture this moment as the most memorable time in my life, we are alone while mesmerizing the sunset. "Is it beautiful?" he said then he look at me. Our eyes met and I feel like ashamed of what happened, he captured me looking at him. Ako ang unang umiwas ng tingin sa kanya at mapaklang napatawa just to ignore the awkwardness I step backward then look at him for a second then look at the sun afterwards. "Yes, it is" I said then suddenly a hands cover my wrist from my back.
"What are"
"Just for a moment" he said after cutting of what I am going to say. I gently smile and hold his hand.
" If I am giving a chance to change my world, I would change it and I want to choose to be with you" he said then I feel his head on my shoulder. I felt pain and happiness, a pain that tells that the guy a like can't be mine, a happiness that if he has a chance he would choose me. It was a couple of minutes when I suddenly feel emptiness and alone as he remove his hand on my wrist then he walkout and living me alone witnessing the final dawn of the sun.
Aalis na sana ako ng maramdaman ko ang aurang may nakatingin sa akin.
"You know, you can't like him" ramdam ko ang bawat diin sa tono ng kaniyang boses. It seems like he is angry at me.
I look at him at ang sama ng tingin niya sa akin.
"What is-
"Just stay away of my friend!" he said after cutting my words. Ariestotle left after a second, he is angry and it seems like I feel pain in his tune.
