My name is Lisa Hopper

First day of school

It's 7:20am and it's time for my first day of school.
I get dressed and head on downstairs for breakfast.

Vance and Aunt Jane are sitting at the breakfast table. I see a bowl of cornflakes waiting for me.

"Excited for you first day of school Lisa?" Aunt Jane asks me.

"I guess, It's a new school so ye" I reply.

"Your parents did tell me about your past in your old school and I know it's hard. Vance is going to walk you to school today as his schools next door to yours" aunt Jane says.

I sit there embarrassed that my parents told them about my past in my old school, but I've got nothing to be embarrassed about.

Me and Vance leave the house and make our way to school.

"Don't let anybody mess with you today" Vance says to me.
"I won't".

"Any problems let me know, I'll deal with them" he says.

I arrive at my school.
Denver Middle School.

I open my timetable and I've got Music class first.
Room 18.
I walk to music class and I open the door to the classroom and it goes dead silent.

"Oh you must be Lisa" the teacher says.
The teacher pulls me to the front of the class.

"Class we have a new student joining us today, would you like to introduce yourself?" She asks.
I look at the board and her name is Mrs.Bell.

"Um okay, my names Lisa Hopper, and I'm from Ohio and I play the electric guitar and the drums".

"Oh wow, how lovely. There's a open seat at the back of the class by Bruce" Mrs. Bell says.

I look for whoever Bruce is.
I see him.
As I'm waking to my seat I hear the classmates whispering several stuff about me.

I go and sit down.
He introduces himself "Im Bruce Yamada nice to meet you Lisa".

I say hello back.
"Right class today your going to finish your own original song with you partner I paired you with" Mrs.Bell says.
But idk who my partner is?

"Oh I'm your partner by the way!"
Bruce says.

"So you play the guitar and the drums?" He asks.
"Yea I've been playing now for about 6 years".

"Cool, I play guitar to!" He says.

We're working on the project and a girl walks up to me.

"Hey so whatever your name is, i heard your last name is Hopper right?" The girl asks.
I stare at Bruce. "Um yes" I reply.

"So you're related to Vance Hopper then?" She asks me.
"Uhm ye he's my cousin" I say.

"Can you meet me dinner time on the yard, I just wanna be friends" she walks away.

That was odd.
Bruce stares at me " that's Rachel, I wouldn't trust her, she never asks people to be her friend she's basically the school bully" he states.

"I'll be okay, She doesn't know me to hold a grudge against me or anything" I say.

Class fly's by quick and it's Dinner break.
