"Hyejin-a," Yoongi shuffled back into the bedroom and began to poke Hyejin's arm, "Wake up."
Hyejin batted at his hand and pulled the blanket over her head, eyes staying shut the entire time.
"Jinnnnnn, Namjoon is here," Yoongi tried again, this time shaking the girl's shoulder as she hid under the covers.
Namjoon stepped into the room, smiling to himself at the sight, "You two are so similar it's no wonder you are close."
Yoongi looked at the younger man with a blank face before circling the bed and climbing back in, "You wake her up, I'm tired."
Namjoon chuckled but let the older do as he wished, Yoongi was known for sleeping late.
"Hyejin," Namjoon crouched down to be eye level with her and pulled the blanket away from her face, "Hyejin."
Instead of waking up, Hyejin rolled over, pulling a pillow over her face.
Namjoon laughed, "It's almost scary how much you two are similar, neither of you is alive until noon," He sits on the edge of the bed and looks at his two friends with a smile on his face.
He lets them be for a long moment and then moves the pillow from Hyejin's face and begins to poke her nose repeatedly, "Hyejin."
She finally begins to wake up, nose scrunching.
"What?" She asks sleepily, slowly opening her eyes.
Namjoon smiles again, "Good morning, sleepy."
Yn frowns, "Don't you dare say it's a good morning. It's a terrible morning and will be a terrible day."
"Yoongi told me about yesterday."
"Then you know why it's not a good morning. I wish I could cease to exist," Hyejin rolled onto her back, eyes fixed on the ceiling.
"Jin-a, I know Taehyung's a jerk but that's a bit much don't you think?" Namjoon pats her arm, "Plus your friends would miss you if you disappeared, right Yoongi?"
Yoongi mumbles unintelligible something from the other side of the bed.
"He took five years of my life, Namjoon. What's the point of life?" Hyejin asks, tears starting to form in her eyes.
Namjoon takes a deep breath, "The point of life? I have contemplated that many times, and each time I come up with a different answer, the most interesting one was-"
Yoongi sits up abruptly and cuts him off, "No please don't go into your psychology or existential crisis right now, I'm begging you."
Namjoon sighs, "Fine, should we do something instead?" He brushes a tear off of Hyejin's face, "Anything you want to do, what do you want to do? We'll take your mind off Mr. Jerk."
Hyejin lets out something between a laugh, cough, and snort before she sits up in the bed, "Is Yoongi coming? I don't trust you driving a car."
Namjoon sighs, "Is today beat up Namjoon day?" He fights the smile creeping across his face as Hyejin tries to hide her own smile.
"Yes, Yoongi is coming, of course, he's coming!" Namjoon reaches out to mess with Yoongi's hair but stops short when the smaller glares at him.
"I know it's winter, but can we go to the beach?" Hyejin asks quietly, looking at Namjoon with hope in her eyes.

Three hours later the three of them were sitting in a café, a small assortment of drinks and desserts on the table in front of them.
Hyejin stares out the window at the beach, watching each wave crash on the shore.
Yoongi puts down his empty coffee cup, "Out of everything you wanted to come here?"
Hyejin nods, "I've always wanted to come here, Tae always said he would bring me, but he always put it off."
Yoongi frowns as Namjoon almost spits out his tea, "It's like a 2-hour drive! He wouldn't bring you?"
She chuckles, "I guess I was asking too much of him."
"I never liked him," Yoongi mumbles, reaching for a cookie.
"Don't lie, you and he were friends, you both liked the other," Hyejin slaps Yoongi's arm. Yoongi flinches and tries to get away from the attack.
"I don't anymore," Yoongi says, shooting Hyejin a look before going back to his cookie.
Namjoon sighs, "What exactly happened yesterday?"
Hyejin sighs, staring into space again, "I think it was just a handful of things all finally building up."
Namjoon and Yoongi wait for her to continue, Yoongi pushing a piece of cake in front of her.
"The one that's the most hurtful is that he won't tell me when there's something bothering him. He goes and hides, I know he cries when I'm not around," Hyejin fiddles with the fork on her plate, "I do so much to try and make sure he's happy and he can't tell me when he's hurting."
"He's a selfish boy," Namjoon says, a hint of contempt in his voice.
Hyejin looks up sharply, "He's not, he's just closed off."
"Jin-a, he didn't take you to the beach once in 5 years, that's more than being closed off," Yoongi gently points out.
Hyejin frowns, "He doesn't like sand, not everything has to be about me!"
"But some things should be, in any relationship you need to both be putting in effort for it to succeed," Namjoon takes a breath, "How much were you putting in compared to Tae? Just something to think about."
Hyejin's hard look falls, and she sighs, "I know it wasn't even."
Namjoon opens his mouth to continue but Yoongi shoots him a look and he closes it again.
Yoongi pulls Yn's chair closer to his and puts an arm around her, patting her shoulder.
Yn leans on his shoulder, staring into the space across from her.
"We don't need all the truths of the universe all at once," Yoongi says softly.
Namjoon nods, "Understood."
