Ice cream cake

It was my first paycheck.
So I decided to buy the ice creamcake that my brother had been eyeing since he first laid his eyes on it on the bakery
It was his birthday that day but i can't buy it at that moment because its a bit pricey for us who barely make a living.

Its only the two of us now since our parents passed away when he was still a small baby.

And so i bought it today.. riding a bicycle with the cake in front of the bike as i fetch him in his school today.

I'm going to surprised him i said.

Going back home we both rode it but we haven't get far that much riding it .. The bicycle broke ..  hence we walk side by side holding the bike .. 

the cake was melting he said

Let's justs stop and eat it now .

holding the cake as we are about to find a place to sit .. a group of motorcycle passed by running nearly by the speed of light..

We are safe .. but not the ice cream cake..
It fell as it was melting ..

I frowned at my brother saying

We should have just ate it at home..

Look now.. what happened

He just look at me his eyes at the edge of crying

Hey stop crying i said as i stood getting the cake that fell a while ago

I get the cream and wipe it in his cheeks

Making him to stop crying

Hey jaeyunnn.. he angrily shouts as he  planning to do the same thing wiping cream on my face 

I don't know if he's angry because he's face is still adorable

We spent the night doing this

Hey this part was still edible i said

Try it..... i said jokingly

I didn't expect that that he will eat it for real

Hey !!!!

What?? you're right its still okay to eat .. taste it he said while laughing. holding it near my face

We arrive at home it was night already. We had cream on our face.. i laighed as i look at my brother

I'm sorry on my next paycheck i buy you a cake that won't melt so that you can eat it without worrying it would melt i said smiling..

he just smiled ate then went to the bathroom to wash his face.

that night my brother passed away .. i didn't know there won't be next time.

But I'm glad we ate the cake he is wishing for even its not in he best state.

Until Now. I still think about that day .
