While I was hugging her, Lucy was coughing.. "Are you alright Lucy..?" She looked at me with her icy blue eyes and smiled "Of course I am.." I smiled back... Later, we were in the living room watching T.V.. That disease is getting really contagious.. While I was watching it.. Lucy was asleep in my arms.. She fell asleep smiling.. I smiled.. I carried her up to her bed and I kissed her forehead.. I went up to my room and thought about what she said.. How Veronica was happier in heaven than here with her family..
"Lucy.. Your the best thing that has happened to me.. If you died my life would be over..." Lucy is only 10 years old.. I'm really worry about her.. I feel as if she is going to get the disease.. Only people who are 10 through 18 can get the disease.. And she's 10.. I just hope she won't get that disease.. She's the world to me... I'll fucking die if she left me.. I'm already suffering from Veronica's death from 10 years ago.. Then there was a knock on my door.. I asked them to come in and it was Lucy.. "Daddy..!" she said.. "Its snowing...!" I think I know why she was surprised.. There was no snow in town since last December.. "Is it..?" I said surprised.. It hasn't snowed here since Victoria's death.. "It is..! Daddy can I ask you a question..?"
"Of course Lucy what is it..?"
"Where is mommy sleeping..?" When she asked that my heart just stopped.. I didn't know what to say.. I didn't want to tell her the truth, she would be bawling if I did.. "She's sleeping under a big oak tree Lucy.." I said. "Can we visit her on my birthday..? That was the day she died.." "Of course Lucy.. Anything for you.." I held her close in my arms for a long time.. Then she fell asleep.. I carried her to her bed and I kissed her on her forehead... "Good night Lucy.. Mommy and Daddy love you.."
