CHAPTER 1: THE TREE

I woke up to the sounds of trees swaying back in fourth in the wind. My head hurt and I was tired beyond belief. I couldn't think straight and I didn't remember where I was or how I got here. My stomach grumbled and the dizziness settled in. I tried to fall back asleep when....

A chilled whisper said into my ear , "Collect the 8 pages, beware of him."

I jumped up, startled. My heart was racing. I tried to run but my hair got tangled into a mess of branches and I stood their and screamed until I could no longer. I looked around to find nothing but darkness. I reached into my pocket and found my small pocket flashlight I always seemed to carry on me. I switched it on fast and shone the dim yellow light all around me to find nothing but trees. I didn't want to stay where I was so I wandered around the woods for a while. I then came to a clearing.

This clearing that I saw turned out to be a crooked gravel path. I followed it until I came to a stop. There stood a marvelous tree, towering high above the rest. I shone my flashlight on it, and it revealed some kind of paper with scribbled writing and a messy picture of some dark figure. "No no no no no no no no" I read over and over. I found the page curi....PAGE! Collect the 8 pages!! I grabbed the note and shoved it in my pocket where my flashlight had been. Without hesitating I ran further down the path never EVER looking back. "1 out of 8" I said to myself, and continued to run.

CHAPTER 2: A JOY RIDE

Everything was happening so fast. I quickly ran out of breath and had to walk. I couldn't explain it but it felt like someone was watching me. I stayed on the path for another 5 minutes until a strange glow caught my sight. It turned out to be a reflection of something. As I walked towards the gleam I found my self next to a blue truck and a yellow storage unit. I tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge.

I gave up fast, for I was very impatient. I circled the car and unit and came across another note. "Can't run" I read aloud. "No shit" I said under my breath. I've never been so exhausted in my life. I tried to grab the note but my fingers kept slipping. I turned on my heel annoyed when..

"AHHH!" I shrieked, taking my first look at this tall dark figure. I quickly turned around. "GRAB IT GRAB IT!" I cried and managed to rip the note of the unit. I tried to run but I just ended up doing an awkward fast walk. My heart was racing so fast. Who was that? WHAT was that?! I was able to think clear enough to say "2 out of 8" in my head and keep walking.

CHAPTER 3: ROCKS AND TRUCKS

The third note I found was easy to find. I found it on some large pink rock." Dont look or it takes you" it had said. "THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL TEN FUCKING MINUTES AGO!" I screamed. I was getting worried because I hadn't seem the man for a while. I kept walking until I came across another car thing which seemed to be a blue minivan.

I tried to get in it but the door once again didn't budge. I found another note on the door and read it in my head. "Always watching." Great, why couldn't I get a note that said "have a nice day" or "hey, you looking fine!" Nope. I took it and a wave of goosebumps came over me covering me from head to toe. I looked back up and shit myself.

I saw him standing here. His face right through the freaking window! I fell flat on my butt, but with all my courage I scrambled back up to my feet and ran towards the opposite direction. "RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN!" I told myself. I started to slow down and my mind screamed, "DO YOU WANT TO GET KILLED!!??" But I just couldn't run. 4/8 I thought. Halfway there. I was a little relieved right up until I saw it.

CHAPTER 4: BATHROOMS AND TANKS

To be honest I didn't really know what it was. It looked like some-kind of bathroom stalls. I saw that they had doors opened leading into the inside. Nope, nope, nope. I said. Hell no. It's a death trap. I decided to stay put and look around. Trees. It's all I could see. Eventually I had no other option but to go inside.

I carefully made my way through the door. It did look like a bathroom, with white tiles and black mold. Strange though, it didn't have bathrooms or sinks just empty rooms and sharp corners. With every step I felt more and more terrified. I started to check all the rooms at that point. Empty. Empty. Empty. Then there was one with a chair. It has to be in here I thought. Empty. I stared down at my feet in frustration. "It took me every ounce of bravery I had to come in here, and there wasn't even a single fucking note." I thought. I left the room and looked for an exit.

My mistake was my confidence level. I had been in the bathroom for ten minutes and hasn't seen the man. I almost completely forgot about him. I turned around a sharp corner and " EEKKKKK!" I shrieked. I was so shocked that I didn't move. My vision started to blur and I felt myself start to fall. But it was my life at stake, I got up and ran around the bathroom until I came to an exit and ran out not looking back.

I started to cry, "I don't wanna try anymore wahh" I cried. I kept walking until I found some strange tank like things. I didn't care what was in them, I just wanted to find a note. I quickly scanned all sides of each one until something white caught my eye. A note! Thank god! I cried "Always watches, no eyes" I read. I turned around and saw the man again from a distance. He wasn't close enough to be a threat but it still scared me.

Now was the time to get a good look at him. Pale white, dressed in a suit. It seemed far to fancy to be chasing around innocent girls in a godforsaken place like this. He also appeared to be very skinny. I figured I call him slenderman. He was dressed like a man, and was skinny. So there you have it. All of a sudden I couldn't see him anymore. I didn't really start to worry, until my flashlight started to fade.

CHAPTER 5: NOTHING

"No! No! No!" I cried. Come on I said mindlessly clicking the button on and off. No use. I looked up at the pale pink sky full of small gleaming stars. It gave me some light, so not ALL hope was lost. I had strayed far off from the path and wandered around the woods until I ran into something. I curiously peered through the darkness trying to figure out what it was I ran into. It turned out to be a 20 foot fence keeping me in and others out. So it was a trap, a set up. Jesus, he's going to find me here!! I thought.

I ran through the woods far away from the fence. Then, it happened again, my vision started to fade. "WHERE IS HE!?" My mind screamed. I ran even faster until I saw him again! I was running towards him!!! What the hell was I thinking! I turned around in confusion. He could be behind any tree! I didn't care. I ran in the darkness. I banged my flashlight against a tree in desperation and sure enough it turned back on. No longer could I run and walked making my way back to a path. I was back to the tree. "I CIRCLED MYSELF!" I screamed. I turned back and followed that path. "What is that!?"

CHAPTER 6: THE TUNNEL OF TERROR

It appeared to be a large tunnel out in the middle of no where. It didn't make any sense but neither had anything else so far. I cautiously entered the tunnel and saw a note just at the very end of it.

As I came closer to the note I was able to read what it had said. "Look behind you" I turned around.

I fell to my knees as slender man's. disjointed limbs and stretchy arms coiled me. I didn't scream, or think. Just watched myself go. Watched my vision fade, watched his endless wave of arms fold around me. Looked deep into the hollow spaces of where a mans eyes must have once been. It happened quick, but time had frozen, wanting me to remember these last moments of my life. Then eventually he disappeared into the night, with one new limb to spare.

AUTHORS NOTE;

So basically I wanted to represent what i do when I play slender. I never have completed the game so the character didn't either. Most of it was related to the game except the end where it is revealed that each of his limbs represent a soul thy has been taken. Weird but I hope you enjoyed!
