Prologue
James Fredrick Duras
"The spell would only hide her for so long, she has been discovered. We must get her to the academy before they kill her, Your Highness." "Can the academy keep her safe enough, Sire?" Chaos was not how my court usually operated, but with the detection of the Naturae's power, the elegant and reserved courtiers lost their calm.
"Quiet! Academy is the best place for her to be. The Naturae is going to be one of the first years since she has come of age. And like all the other first years she will go through the nominal ceremonies." My word is final.

Asher
Okay, so my plan is backfiring. That idiot is enjoying the attention Dammit! And, even the princesses haven't realized that the person pretending to be the prince is Nikos not me. We don't even look alike. How am I supposed to choose from these girls? My mom won't be pleased with my assessment. I just want to get it over with.
" Looks like the Prince is enjoying himself, doesn't he Mr.Guard? I am snapped out of my monologue by a very silvery voice. I turn around to find a beautiful girl leaning on one of the ornately carved pillars. She has a mischievous smile on her lips and her eyes hold a knowing glint. Her black curly hair is framing her face and highlights her delicate gray eyes that seem to radiate warmth. She is wearing a ceremony dress, but I have no clue which ceremony. Her dress is the average cream colored but her cloak, unlike the white or pink floofy and lousy excuse of cloaks other girls are wearing, she is wearing a solid black and sturdy cloak, and upon a keener look it looks like some tiny patterns have been woven onto the borders.
" Like what you see?" She also seems cocky. I am aware I haven't yet replied but, I am a guard, at least at the moment and I am allowed to be stoic.
She stands upright and walks towards me and stops just a few meters away. Her scent is like that of a fresh forest after rainfall and the smell of wildflowers is prominent.
" You do realize Ash, that your princely features are a little too noticeable. That pretty ocean-like eyes? Taken straight out of Freya's face, also you practically look like James, no strike that, you are spitting a copy of him. Man, these girls sure are dumb. "
"Wait, Wait, wait - backtrack a little. Who ARE you? And how dare you call the king, queen, and heir by their first names?
"Aha! Finally, you cracked. Anyway, I am Inina Astoria Kight. And you are about to witness these pretty and sophisticated-looking girls not so sophisticated in a few moments"
"You didn't answer the question"
" What was there to answer you basically just confirmed you are the prince."
"I absolutely didn't"
"You do realize guards are stoic people who absolutely wouldn't dare to make faces at the Prince" *scoff*
I did not make faces, or did I? She is messing with my mind. Who even is sh-
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
"That sure was high-pitched, wasn't it Asher? Although knowing what a drama queen Mellisa is I expected more than that. It is funny seeing their fancy clothes all wet and muddy. But that's what they get for being entitled petty little buttercups"
"Buttercups, seriously? But you are missing the point completely aren't you Inina, why did you ruin their ceremonial robes? The ceremony is about to commence, is this the state they will be sorted?"
"Buttercups symbolize ingratitude and childish behavior. Were you not even aware of it Prince. What a shame."
"YOUR MAJESTIES, THE RULERS OF THE GREAT EMPIRE ARCELIA, QUEEN FREYA, AND KING JAMES ARE ENTERING."
"I never knew your parents to like such fanfare." "You don't even know my parents" " Oh poor Ash, I know plenty. It is you who doesn't have a clue, so you better buckle up, this is going to be one hell of a year, Your Highness"
